Hotel Totara

Well I think it's already the 5th time I stay at Hotel Totara. It might not be the best of the best, but what I like most is the location. Very helpful and friendly staff. There is a big improvement in breakfast compared to last year.

Actually there is nothing to dislike. Sometimes you hear noise from other people, but it's still ok. Maybe only warning I can give to the Mgt of the hotel. I hope you won't increase your prices anymore, otherwise value/money might not be correct anymore

The property is clean and proximity to slipway and shops was great

Facility could be upgraded over a long term.

We only stayed for one night with a very early check-out. The hotel is very good value-for-money (given the generally high hotel prices in Dar), but do not expect any frills. Super friendly personnel both at the reception and at the bar, great location close to many restaurants and bars in walking distance, clean rooms and comfy beds. Also organized a taxi for us to the bus station at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

Bathroom is like a built-in capsule with milk glass - so a bit limited privacy when staying with someone else in the room.
