No Frills

I liked our room and the comfort of the bed. The location was great.1 min walk to the beach.

I did not like that there is literally nothing in the kitchen to use unless you go to the trouble of asking for a kitchen box. Also since they only clean every 3 days our floor was super sandy and felt gross to walk on but there was no broom to clean up with. Since it's right on the beach I imagine most people have this problem. They should also have disposable cups in the room so you at least have one for water. The breakfast was rather disappointing. We didn't even go there the last day, which is probably what they are hoping for. Imagine the absolute cheapest way to feed a crowd of people and that is what you get. There are no protein options. It is all carbs. They do have peanut butter and cream cheese for the toast and bagels. I did NOT like having to pay for parking, I think it was about $17 per day. That really adds up.

Address was blocks away from checkin location. Huge line out the door to checkin. No sense of urgency from staff nor apologies for checking in people slowly. Huge waste of time. Wont be back to these hotels.

I loved the treatment I received from Allison (the housekeeper).She has gone above and beyond to ensure I have everything I might need in my hotel. The hotel should really hire more employees like her who strive for the best. Out of the whole staff, she is the only humble employee and very apologetic and understanding to others need. Having a person like her makes my whole stay a lot better. I truly want to thank Allison for all of her hard work she has put in.

I don't like the front office staff who constantly mistreat every person they can. Ever since I called for the sheets and to report my son falling because of the broken tiles on the floor, they have locked my key card, as well as they constantly unlock my door throughout the whole night, it's very inconvenient. I know the hotel has taken a personal vendetta against me and my family, I fear going to sleep now because my door is constantly unlocked, I know they can unlock it from the office without needing to be at my door with a key card. I just wish the office staff took their guest needs seriously and prioritize them. I wish they can please stop trying to make my whole stay more miserable than it is already. I have a until Saturday July 22nd and if my husband goes to get the breakfast, the personnel at the kitchen constantly harrasess him asking him what is he doing there, and that the breakfast is only for guests. I thought we were guests since we are paying to stay. He told her he's a guest and showed her the key card and she still had an attitude with him because she didn't want him there. Out of all the customers getting breakfast she watches over what he's grabbing to eat.

I supposedly already had the room. Nimber but they gave me another, I believe, was smaller and yet charged the same rate.

I didn't like that there were ants and you couldn't set anything down on the counter without it being smothered by ants. Then I get a late checkout only for staff to bang on the door like I'm some homeless person trying to squat when I paid extra to stay later.

Full of roaches and mice! horrible!

The place is dirty and the staff is horrible. We found roaches and mice in the room. We left due to how horrible this place was, and they refused to refund us. WILL NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN!

Location was absolutely perfect, room was above and beyond massive, bed extremely comfortable, room super clean. I was absolutely impressed! Highly recommend. Was at Del Mar not starfish, up graded!

Staff, absolutely unprofessional! I went to stay another night and once I stated I'd pay cash room price doubled. Not personable, acted as if you were a bother and made to feel very uncomfortable. Very rude to the older customers.
