Penélope Beachfront Villas

נסענו משפחה עם חמישה ילדים. היה מרווח מאוד. נקי ומאובזר ג׳ורג׳ היה זמין לכל שאלה ועניין ממליצים מאוד! המיקום היה מעולה! על הים! במרחק של 5 דקות מהשדה תעופה. 20 דקות מכל המקומות המרכזיים.

The property is modern and well equipped. It was clean and comfy. My only reservations were its position. The area immediately outside the villa is untidy and unkept. The immediate beach is dirty. The water lovely but the beach unkept. The beach is pebble which can be fine but these are difficult to navigate into the water. Further up the road is what can only be described as hotel owned or bar owned and slightly better kept. Very slightly disappointing in this respect. The supermarket is a good 20 minute walk but is well stocked. The villa is lovely but the immediate area lets it down. We had a problem with the pool and it was attended to that day. There is a little beach bar 5 minutes from the villa serving cafe food and drinks. Air conditioning works well. Outside furniture is of good quality and it is mainly quiet, apart from… the Planes! Someone had previously commented that the planes didn’t bother them. They were annoying! Quite low and just behind the villa. Lovely villa but wouldn’t choose the area again as very windy (we didn’t know!). Plus the WiFi is rubbish!

We had such a lovely time at Vila Penelope! The location couldn’t be better – right by the sea, with an amazing view and just a few steps from the beach. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was very clean, bright, and beautifully decorated. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. The balcony overlooking the sea was definitely our favorite spot — perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed, while also giving us our privacy. There’s no breakfast offered, but there are plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby, so that wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, Vila Penelope is a wonderful place to stay — cozy, clean, and right on the water. We truly felt at home and would love to come back again! ❤️

Nothing at all

Location good but spoilt by noise from the beach late at night. People are living out of their cars near the property. Lots of space. Quiet through the day.

Cockroaches in the beach house. Ants crawling over the upstairs beds. Told the owner and his response was it’s on nature land. I bought bug spray and left it for the next guests. House was not clean, dust and hairs all over, splashes in bathroom and on kitchen units, crumbs on the dinning table. The awful screen around the outdoor pool makes the area look dirty. Owner did send cleaners out the night we arrived but the baby was in bed and our things were all over so I declined the ‘help to clean’. Still waiting for the additional sheet for the baby’s cot. Told the pool would be cleaned 2/3 times a week it was done once when I asked because it was filthy.
