Firstly, the location is good for people with vehicle otherwise is far from everything! I have a car, so it wasn’t a problem.
Communication with the lady owner one day before arrival through WhatsApp.
Self check-in and they given you the key code only a few hours before you arrive. And also sending you a picture of the premises and even using my gps still can’t find it because there is no name or number which is very confusing. So, I have to look at the photo from the owner sent me to recognize the grey gate.
It’s a large apartment with two bedrooms. It consists with laundry machine, big fridge, ironing, microwave, oven and plenty of cooking pans.
Both bedrooms have airconditionings while in the living room only fan.
Bathroom somewhat smaller with good hot showers but no hand soap. They only leave small size body lotion and toothpaste.
Private parking right outside the apartment and you have a terrace but I barely used it. Too many mosquitoes to sit outside. Furthermore, it’s a good place to stay in Les Abymes and close to the airport in Point-a-Pitre.
I don’t have internet for two days . There’s a router inside the bedroom, but this wasn’t working when I arrived. So, I’m using my mobile data from Digicel for internet.
On the third day, I don’t have electricity from morning until in the evening. I thought it was communal brownouts, but coming home after a long day out, still no electricity. So I message the owner that is really dark inside the apartment. And she said that someone will come.
The neighbor came up with a flashlight until somebody coming to fix the lights. And also they fixed the internet. Even sitting inside the house you will be eaten by the mosquitoes.
