About this cabin rental
Cozy log cabin tucked away on our private 160-acre property. This is a true backwoods, off-grid experience—a place to disconnect from the busy pace of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The cabin is solar powered and has no running water. We provide portable drinking water for your stay, and the solar system provides enough power for your essential needs. The property also features a forest dome, offering another unique way to experience the outdoors and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Surrounded by forest and peaceful wilderness,
Poplar Cabin offers plenty of space to explore. Walk or bike the many trails that wind throughout the property. In winter, the trails are groomed for cross-country skiing, creating a beautiful winter wonderland right outside your door. For a little extra relaxation, enjoy some time in the barrel sauna and let the quiet of the forest melt the stress away.

Beautiful and relaxing get away. The trails were beautiful to walk.Loved looking for turtles and frogs at the pond. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Owners of the property were great people. Thank you!

The cabin is very cute, exactly like the pictures, and the perfect size for a couple. One day was extremely hot and it was hot in the cabin, thank goodness for the small fan they had. The outdoor shower was nice and the organic pool was so nice to swim in when it was hot. It was a man-made pond, very natural looking. We enjoyed the sauna on our second (cooler) day then swimming. The hosts were very responsive and quickly took care of one thing that wasn’t working. My one criticism is that the property is more field-like than forested as I expected, and there were tons of flies so we couldn’t even sit outside one day. (Of course that’s not the hosts fault, but from the pictures I was expecting a cabin in the woods). There are also a few cabins on the property which made it a bit confusing for check-in as we hadn’t been told which cabin we had. (this one is Poplar). But overall great natural, off the grid getaway. Even the outhouse was nicer than most!
