We are a group of life long friends that try to get together every year or two. This house was an odd mix of everything we needed and just not quite right. The location was exactly what we needed. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate, although queen size beds would be more comfortable for our situation (but it was as described in the posting). Some one mentioned a low towel count, but we found extras in the upstairs hall closet. Kitchen tools - meh. We worked with it for breakfast.
Cleanliness 2.5 stars. The bathrooms and kitchen counters seemed clean enough. The floors were not clean enough. The corners were dusty and when something rolled under the bed and I had to retrieve it...oof. Really really not clean. When we spilled water on the kitchen floor and cleaned it up, the paper towels were black. It seemed the floors had been swept but not cleaned.
The WiFi password in the provided information was not accurate and of the two different inquiries we made to the point of contact, we received Zero response. So, no WiFi.
A couple of folks were concerned about the odd DIY fixer upper choices, but they didn't really affect the weekend usability of the house.
If they'd have us back after this review, we would consider a second try based on need, location, and size. There's potential there, it just needs more effort from the cleaning crew. After 15 yrs as a VRBO traveler, I have higher expectations from a Premier Host property.
