Duplex apartment above the Hotel Berri Champs-Élysées (5-star)

Very spacious, safe apartment near the Champs. Host, Thierry, was very accommodating and available.

Host was great, location of the property was amazing (we walked everywhere!), tons of restaurants and bakeries close by, and enough space for my wife and 3 grown kids…which is tough to find! Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 was the property was a little run-down (ceiling pealing off in the showers, washer would get stuck mid-cycle, a few lights were out, etc.). Nothing that hurt our experience in Paris at all, but just the difference between 4 and 5 stars. Would recommend for larger families instead of a hotel where we’d have to get 2 rooms.

This property is amazing! The location is fabulous, and the pictures online don’t do it justice. The living space is comfortable, beautiful, like living in an art gallery. There is plenty of room, and we even had a birthday party for a friend one evening with champagne glasses, serving pieces, and all the other trimmings we needed. The landlord was extremely responsive when we had an issue with one of the shutters getting stuck. He was there with a repair person the same day to have it taken care of.We were extremely grateful for the air conditioning throughout the apartment, since we were there during a two week heat wave which can be unbearable in Paris without AC. Also appreciated the washer & dryer combo, the dishwasher, and the hot tub. Some of the fixtures in the bathrooms are a bit dated, but overall this apartment was a dream vacation spot. Thierry was a fabulous host, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends. Thank you for a wonderful home base while in Paris for two weeks.

We had such an amazing stay at this penthouse in Paris! The place is beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we needed for our family. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city. Our host was so kind and welcoming, really went out of their way to make sure we were settled in and had a great experience. He gave us tons of helpful tips and ideas for things to do, which made planning our days so much easier and more fun.Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot or a better host. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!
