About this house rental
Welcome to our cabin on the Wisconsin River! Our home is located in between Madison and the Dells.
The Space
The home has three bedrooms, with the first being on the main floor and the other two upstairs. We have a full kitchen and grill outside for your use to prepare meals. The kitchen opens into a living and family room with river views! Outside, we have a large yard with a fire pit and a deck with a year round hot tub overlooking the water!
Activities
There are things todo all year near Dekorra. For the summer months, the Wisconsin Rivers offers great boating and fishing. The home has a boat launch at the end of the street, and a children’s park next door with a basketball/tennis court. We also have a dock in the summer months should you want to fish there (Please note we do not allow boats to be tied to our dock, there is a lot across the street to store your boat overnight). Devils Lake State Park is also only a 40min drive away.
The winter months offer just as many activities outdoors. Our hot tub is open all year and we provide heaters to help you get outside even when it’s cold. Devils Head Resort (30 min) and Cascade Mountain (20 min) are short drives away and offer great skiing. Columbia County snowmobile trails are also available nearby!!

Very nice cabin with amazing views. There's so much available to do at the cabin & in the area. Really nice outside dock, firepit, grill, & hot tub. The host provided firewood and propane for the grill which was a huge plus. This cabin is also bordering a public boat dock and a public park with a tennis/basketball court which is great. The ideal guests for this place would be a family as there is a smaller guest limit of only 6 people on the property at any time. I would suggest this 6 person limit be updated for overnight guests only with more accomodation for daytime guests. There are two bars within a 5 minute walk of this cabin, one of them has great food & usually has live music on weekends. The only downside I had was security cameras around the exterrior of the property. There were none disclosed on the listing when booking like they were supposed to. Upon entering the cabin there is a sheet of paper disclosing 4 total outside cameras, but I counted at least 10 different cameras which seems excessive. Some cameras were facing in the direction of windows, but none of those windows were of bedrooms or bathrooms. I value my privacy and feeling watched the whole time made the trip feel a little less enjoyable. Especially when the host called to ask about what I was doing there one of the nights.Check in instructions were easy but weren't provided until 9am on the day of arrival. Pictured outdoor patio table was not there upon arrival. Still a 10/10 property & views.

We were so happy to have booked this house on the river. The place was perfect for our family of four (there was definitely room for more). Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed, plus a hot tub. The owners were wonderful to communicate with! There is a boat launch right next to the house, which was perfect for us to launch our boat. There is a cute little park next door with basketball and pickleball. The property was about 30 minutes to the water parks at the Dells. The closest walmart/grocery was 15-20 minutes. We ate at a very nice restaurant, recommended by the locals called Cimaroli's. The steaks were amazing!!10/10 recommend this peaceful getaway.
