About this house rental
Comfortable Victorian period house with many original historical features. Spacious and light kitchen with underfloor heating, dining and sitting area, traditional butler’s sink and Rangemaster cooker/oven. Two french doors leading from the kitchen to the lovely outside patio area with barbecue and flower beds.
Living room with work dedicated area.
Two spacious bathrooms, an extra toilet by the kitchen, 4 king size bedrooms with original fireplaces, a separate living room with large TV screen with prepaid Netflix and Amazon Prime. A unique attic room with lovely views over the city.
Walking proximity to bus and train station with good connection to the city. Local shops 5 mins walk. Free parking on the street.

Steve one of the owners was amazing, very communicative, quick to respond and eager to help resolve any issues. The house was ideally located and had enough space for 10 of us. However, we booked the property based upon the listing which originally showed a hot tub, sauna and bigger kitchen, this was an error by Vrbo, they had combined photos of the owners other house and this one. Vrbo should offer a 25% refund based upon their false advertising as this trip was in celebration of our daughters 16th birthday and for her, this ruined her trip and affected what should of been a special birthday. Vrbo are a big company and should not have made such a big error. Steve was deeply apologetic and helpful, he is very communicative, but Vrbo you are to blame for this. We will be putting in a formal complaint.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Plumstead. There were 6 of us on a mom and daughters’ trip and we had a ton of space to spread out. We loved the local area, especially the Plumstead Commons park, the Star pub and the Boba tea shop. A grocery is right down the hill. It’s a short walk to the train station that took us into London for sightseeing, but we were always happy to get out of the tourist area in the evening. All the locals we met were helpful and nice. The area felt very safe. Petra was excellent at answering all of my many questions. Highly recommend this property and Plumstead.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Well appointed and in great condition. Roomy and comfortable. It is farther from London than what I had anticipated but we managed it easily enough.

Although quite a way out of central London, transport links were excellent.The house is well equipped and very clean .Petra was helpful.We were a bit unsure about waste disposal and recycling. Most of us live abroad and are used to different systems so hope we did it correctly.Would definitely stay there again.
