Pousada Sabina

Amei tudo! A pousada é linda e aconchegante. O café da manhã é delicioso, variado e muito gostoso. O Wi-Fi, o chuveiro quente e o ar condicionado funcionam maravilhosamente bem. A atenção da equipe é fantástica! Ricardo é sensacional, sempre disponível, simpático, disposto a ajudar e dar as melhores dicas dos passeios. As meninas são super atenciosas, principalmente Pri que é uma fofa! Eles são muitos cuidadosos com os hóspedes, sempre colocam água mineral no quarto como mimo e fazem um cafezinho com bolo como brinde no final da tarde! Adorei a Sabina! Super recomendo e pretendo voltar muito em breve!!!

A Pousada Sabina, em Barra Grande, é simplesmente maravilhosa — uma daquelas experiências que a gente leva com carinho na memória. O café da manhã merece um destaque especial: impecável! Tudo extremamente bem preparado, fresco, saboroso e com uma variedade que surpreende. É aquele tipo de café que faz você querer acordar cedo só pra aproveitar com calma. Mas o que realmente eleva a experiência a outro nível é a equipe. Ricardo, Rô, Ana e Priscila são simplesmente incríveis! Atenciosos, carinhosos, sempre com um sorriso no rosto e prontos para ajudar em qualquer detalhe. Dá pra sentir que fazem tudo com dedicação de verdade, o que deixa a estadia muito mais acolhedora e especial. É o tipo de lugar que não só atende, mas supera qualquer expectativa. Já dá vontade de voltar antes mesmo de ir embora.

Sem dúvida, que o café da manhã é um dos grandes pontos altos da estadia e algo que fica na memória.

The pool was clean and water was provided free of charge so you can refill your water bottles to keep down plastic. Pillows were comfortable too.

The mosquitoes are an issue and because there are no screens on any doors or windows (they’re slats) you couldn’t open them to air the room or provide a view. No mosquito nets either, although Christian did kindly provide us with a homeopathic spray to use during our stay. It was difficult to use the hammock for this reason too. The bed sheets do not fit the mattress, they’re too small, so you’re forever remaking the bed. The breakfast staff and Christian were polite, no-one speaks any English and they had difficulty understanding my Portuguese pronunciations. The breakfast set up is not typically Brazilian where you help yourself to a buffet, it’s brought to you bit by bit at your table. I’d already communicated ahead of time that I have an allergy to bananas, yet bananas were given to us fried, and then I questioned a yoghurt served and again that contained bananas. They should take this more seriously. The guy (manager?) who checked us in was less than helpful, I do not know his name as he didn’t introduce himself. He provided no information about the area, things to do etc. There was immediately an issue at check in as we had had our credit cards cloned so the remaining balance of our payment could not be taken on the same card. We tried to explain but he seemed frustrated and inconvenienced by it. It all felt very transactional and as we had just left an amazing pousada in Taipu do Fora the differences in welcome and professionalism were glaringly obvious. We chose this pousada because of the fabulous reviews about the staff. Maybe they were having a bad few days, but we didn’t feel welcome and wouldn’t recommend a stay here.
