Casa Abdou

There was parking facility which was important for us. Mostly all places are at walkable distance but we went in car as we had our daughter with us. The place was clean and tidy and had a good view too. It was a comfortable stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

First, the staff Yusuf was amazing. He wrote to us offered to pick us up at the bus station and drove us back He ordered food for us offered to drive us anywhere we wanted to go could not have been more helpful. What a gentleman never had such great and kind service. He upgraded us to a two bedroom suite with a magnificent balcony overlooking the valley and the town. It was magnificent.! The apartment was very clean very convenient walking distance to everything.

We stayed at Casa Abdou, and this is my honest take. Let me start with Youssef, who was an absolute star. He helped us with everything we needed, did exactly what he promised, and handled everything with a warm, friendly spirit. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made a real difference to our stay. The apartment itself has a lot going for it. It is spacious, very conveniently located, and the balcony has a beautiful view that we really enjoyed. The air conditioning in the main room was also a real blessing, especially on the chilly nights. For the price, it offered excellent value for money.

There were a few small but meaningful frustrations. For a self-catering unit, the lack of cooking utensils was quite disappointing and made preparing meals far more difficult than it should have been. To add to that, only one of the gas burners worked, so cooking was difficult to say the least. The shower also needed attention. The shower head had come off the wall and the pipe was damaged, so having a shower became a slightly chaotic exercise in cleaning yourself while also unintentionally spraying half the bathroom.

Property is great when it comes to facilities.

We were in Chefchaouen while it was raining and cold, it was freezing inside the apartment eventhough we have had ac- located in bedroom. Bedroom was the only room where it was possible to stay. So I wouldnt recommend it if its cold in Chefchaouen..on the other hand if its warmer yes.
