Maison de la Grange, Chaulieu

Great location for visiting local sights including D-Day and Mont Saint Michel. Plenty of supermarkets near by with great selections. Some have electrical charging points which were great for us. Very well stocked kitchen, so could proper cook. Due to the hot weather we spent most of the time in the garden using the pool and chilling under the walnut tree.

Our hosts, Lesley and Malcolm, were extremely welcoming and attentive, both before and throughout our stay. It is clear that they have put a great deal of thought into making Maison de la Grange comfortable and ensuring guests have everything they need. We had an excellent stay and would happily recommend the property. We particularly appreciated the provision of useful basics such as condiments, hand wash and other essentials, which are not always included in holiday accommodation. The house was ideal for our family of five, including three older teenagers. The large open-plan ground floor, combining the kitchen, dining and living areas, was a real highlight. There were plenty of comfortable places to sit, allowing us all to spend time together while still having enough space to spread out and relax. The swimming pool was fantastic. My daughter and I used it every day, and it was always exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The location was peaceful and relaxing, while still being conveniently situated for all the places we wanted to visit during our stay. Overall, Maison de la Grange is a beautiful, spacious and thoughtfully equipped property with excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Prachtige locatie, zeer fijne eigenaren. Ze hebben ons zeer welkom laten voelen en gaven ons nog leuke tips om te doen in de omgeving. Heerlijke bakker op 10 min rijden😀.

Het is wat verder weg van de bekende locaties in Normandië, maar als je het niet erg vind om een uurtje te rijden door de prachtige omgeving, is deze locatie zeer zeker een aanrader!
