A place to CHILL!

The hosts were great! One of us wanted to sleep on the couch, and we asked if there were extra blankets. There weren't any on site, but the hosts dropped off two different types of blankets to accommodate our needs. They were very responsive and helpful. It was wonderful having a kitchen to use. We made breakfast every day. Extra points for having a toaster! The air conditioners provided were also great, since we were staying in mid-August and the weather was pretty warm.

A minor note: The place smelled strongly of cleaning products when we arrived. But opening the windows aired it out in minutes. It wasn't a big deal, but be aware if you're sensitive to strong smells. It doesn't linger, so don't panic. :)

Great location. Clean. Lots of space. Quiet. Easy to park. Washing machine and drying rack.

1. This is not the property but a surprise in the check in process — the owner asked for a copy of my driver license. Booking.com puts a banner after such requests warning that you should not provide this. So I sent screen shot to owner of this warning. He said this was required so I tried sending photo with month and year of birth blacked out. He said needed to be clean copy. So I provided this. This was contactless checkin but he said camera would recognize me. The camera angle makes me think that this was not active anyway. I have never been asked for this and I don’t feel great about their having copy of my driver license. So this is something for Booking.com to sort out with owners given that they provide this warning to ignore such requests. 2. If you are a person who likes to use AC, know that the AC is a unit in the middle of the room. Not central. As is normal, was a bit noisy. The second bedroom does not have the AC. It was fine for us because we were just using one bedroom to sleep.

They were responsive to concerns sent to them through the Booking app. Full kitchen with dishes, etc. Very clean with plenty of towels.

Advertised as having A/C but it does not have central A/C. They brought portable units in the living room and one bedroom to keep those cool, but it did not help the second bedroom. There are expectations of a list of things they want you to do to clean before departing (bed linens, dishes, etc.). No parking on property but there is free parking on the street.
