Great location but wouldn’t return unless they sort some of the issues

Location is great overlooking camps bay & Bakoven. Room was spacious, it felt newly renovated. Great bed and a big terrace.

No reception area so all a bit odd when first arrived. No welcome as such. Feels like it’s a mix of residential and short term lets so not a ‘guest house’ feel at all. Noisy kids in building, sounded like they were playing annoying video games that we could hear through the walls. Pool area needs a lot of TLC! It’s not particularly clean and with odd access, uneven steps to the ‘deck’ which has broken planks. And someone’s washing hung out. Feels like it’s a work in progress …

Exceeded our expectations — flawless stay

An exceptional place to stay. We spent two weeks here in a very pleasant location, but what I appreciated most was the spacious rooms and their excellent amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable, the view was beautiful, and everything was kept impeccably clean. The service was regular and reliable, and the staff were extraordinarily helpful and kind. After a long time, an accommodation truly exceeded my expectations.

For completeness, there’s really nothing negative to mention — just keep in mind that this area can occasionally be quite windy, as is typical for the location.

Mission to get up to the room. Once you up there you comfortable . No hot water.Jenny is awesome.

The caretaker/cleaner Jenny she was a breath of fresh air. When we arrived she welcomed us warmly. She kept the place superclean. The room and bathroom was very clean. It was modern and very comfortable . The bed was king size and pillows were comfortable.

The owner however would not even greet just stared you down. The only kitchen facilities are cups and sauces a kettle and a bar fridge(no tea coffee sticks etc).If you need to heat up food you go into the owners quarters and he looked very unhappy. There is no hot water , at first I thought because it was in the afternoon that the water needed time to heat up. The next morning I was in the bath at 7am and still no hot water. There are no lifts so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs.

That was absolutely amazing!

We felt so good at this place. We had a very beautiful room, gorgeous view at the ocean. Felt extremely safe and welcome. Big thanks to the people who let us in every time - we felt so good and really liked the feeling that someone was waiting for us. Also thanks for everyday cleaning and so positive vibes from the lady who welcomed us. We would like to stay again in the future. That was amazing!

Views were so nice! Accommodation was clean and beds comfy. We had breakfast but didn’t actually go due to our plans so can’t comment on that. Staff all really friendly and happy to help.

The property wasn’t equipped for loadshedding and we had two events to dress up for which was highly inconvenient. Secondly the breakfast was prepared without giving us options or asking what our preference would be.

The room views are really stunning! Waking up to this is surreal. The rooms are clean, modern and well equipped. Great hosts - Jin and Valentine made our stay comfortable. They are helpful, friendly and happy to chat with you! We loved their breakfast, very homely and something a little different everyday. Valentine helped us pack our breakfast for a takeout even :) Luxurious stay and well worth the price. Thank you all!

The room was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that left us speechless. What really made our stay unforgettable was their amazing staff. Valentine and Yvonne were an absolute gem, always going above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. Their kindness and helpfulness truly made our stay more enjoyable. And the owner, Jin, was equally amazing. She was always reachable and available to address any concerns we had. Great location with an amazing host

The place is amazing! The location is beautiful and safe, great sea views with beautiful view of the sunset and Mountain View on the other side. I’m definitely booking here again! The host is super nice and helpful, always available on the phone and quick to respond and assist when you need something. The room was big, clean and very modern with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. Breakfast was really nice and they try to make it different everyday.

Amazing highlight of our journey

Our stay was amazing! Jin is such a heart-warming person and the whole team is doing an excellent job, for us it felt like coming home so that we extended our stay there. Selfmade breakfast was soooo good and the service was beyond compare. The rooms are modern, clean and simply completely beautiful and the beach-view is excellent. We will come back!
