Comfy 2-bedroom House in Sanjaynagar, Bengaluru

Comparing it to many other properties in India, I'd say this is one of the best, though there are some issues bringing that down. The surroundings are certainly good, and for once there was minimal noise pollution throughout the stay. Granted, there is a guard dog in a nearby house, but I've seen far worse. There are plenty of shops around, and the roads are even peaceful enough for running. Regarding the house, it is spacious, has a good kitchen, comfy beds, large fridge and decent toilet. You also have things like a clothes stand, broom, and dustpan. Good that there is awareness to separate dry waste and wet waste. The owner is also friendly and I'm sure he will help you if anything comes up.

1 - The doors are short. I banged my head on the door frame three times, and that just isn't pleasant. I had to hang something in front of the door and remember to bend down each time I had to pass through a door. My suggestion for the owner is to go ahead and hang something like a towel or sign in front of the doors so others do not have to suffer. 2 - There are no mosquito nets attached to any of the windows. The windows are also small and have poor airflow. That being said, while flies were around, I don't think I had any major problems with mosquitos. 3 - There are large cockroaches living in the kitchen, which I mostly do not see in other properties. 4 - House wasn't really clean when I walked in on Day 1. I had to sweep the floor, and wipe the fridge. 5 - Owner suddenly woke me in the early morning saying that he needed to send a cleaner in. There was never any mention of a cleaner beforehand and this is a huge violation of guest privacy. The owner should agree with the guests in advance a time and date to send in the cleaner. Furthermore, the cleaner showed up twice but did absolutely nothing. She merely switched on all the lights, moved things around and left. Doesnt make sense why she had to be sent in at all. 6 - Most expensive property I've stayed at in India. But I understand the price maybe higher because its a property for four people. Still, if I am paying higher, I would expect to at least not have to bang my head and have to worry about mosquitos entering, or cockroaches for that matter. Nevertheless, the property was more than good enough overall and I am satisfied with the stay.
