Vana Kuti-cabin in the woods

The woods around the cabin were very nice in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was clean and warm.

I did not care for the experience of using an outhouse for "those needs". The path to the cabin should have been better lit at night, we needed to use our flashlights to find our way.

Very nice spot and cozy! Has basically everything that you would need! Tucked away and private in a beautiful area. Plenty of things to do surrounding. Would definitely stay here again!

Seeing the host even for one quick hello is maybe my only suggestion! we ran into a power outage that the host was very very fast acting on and one of the propane tanks was empty for the shower but was able to locate a spare with a few minutes of searching.

Peaceful setting. Woods were beautiful. Owner friendly and nice walk to peak of mountain nearby. Description just does not match property, so be aware when booking. No shower and no hot water heater or system of any kind connected (so not broken or a minor issue, but misleading advertising).

Unfortunately, there was no shower available, and no hot water at all. The shower itself wasn't actually even connected in any way, so this wasn't a minor issue that occurred and couldn't be fixed in time - there simply was no shower there. I'd have preferred to know this prior to staying and had price reflect lack of facilities, but absolutely no mention of the issue on check in! In fact, I received a message which explained how to operate the non-existent shower on the day of arrival, which was odd, given no water heater/shower connected. Heater in cottage was also very loud and made a beeping alarm type noise every time it clicked back on overnight (freezing, so needed it on). This wakes you up every 45bmin or so. As other guests have mentioned, there was a definite smell of old cigarettes and cigarette burns on the blankets, too.
