Quinta da Utopia

Quinta da Utopia was the highlight of our two weeks in Portugal — a place you never want to leave, and genuinely never need to. The house sits on hectares of private land, beautifully restored and furnished as if it were our own home, every detail quietly telling the story of the estate and of the family who has been bringing it back to life since 1990. We came looking for peace and real isolation — to fall asleep to insects and wake to birdsong, to live at the pace of nature — and that is exactly what we found. Our children foraged fruit straight from the garden, played football, flew down the zip line strung between two trees; we read in the countless shaded corners scattered across the grounds, worked on excellent Wi-Fi under the great fig tree on the terrace, and watched films at night, startled by the sounds of the wild. Above all there is Hugo and his family, who welcomes you with genuine warmth and shares, with contagious passion, the story of a family project generations in the making. You don't simply stay at the Quinta — you become part of its story. We will come back very soon!

Mobile coverage on the estate is limited — but the fast Wi-Fi covers everything, and the disconnection is really part of the magic.

O espaço exterior é enorme, muito cuidado e com diferentes áreas destinadas aos diferentes momentos do dia e idades: zona de refeição com churrasco, piscina com diferente mobiliário para relaxar e apanhar sol (ou sombra), campo de futebol para as crianças, slide, jogos tradicionais para crianças e adultos e possibilidade de caminhadas/btt.

Tudo! Anfitrião espetacular! Sr Hugo é preocupado, disponível e atencioso! Nunca nos faltou nada! Tivemos miminhos à chegada! A casa está bem equipada e com pormenores de quem cuida! O espaço exterior é super acolhedor, tem uma piscina muito boa e só se ouve a natureza que nos abraça! Vamos voltar certamente!

A casa é espetacular. Muito bem decorada e super acolhedora. O anfitrião é muito simpático e disponível. Recomendo vivamente para quem quiser passear naquela zona.
