Photos were largely consistent with the posting other than the couches in the main living space. Fairly clean upon arrival, nothing egregious. Spacious for two couples. Two queen beds we used were comfortable memory foam mattresses. Ample pillows and linens were comfortable. Main floor felt bright with great lighting and large kitchen table which was great for shared meals. Ample firewood for the week and a great fireplace, we had a fire every morning and evening. Stove, washing machine, fridge, oven (small counter top model) all functional.

Most importantly, other review commenting on sewage smell coming from main floor bathroom is accurate - essentially unusable and we kept the door closed all week to prevent the whole place smelling. By the end of the week, even upstairs sink had a bit of this smell. Overall, kitchen large but very average equipment. No kettle available. Knives are all quite dull. Not enough hot water for 4 people to shower consecutively so we had to ensure no dishes until all showered, turn water off in shower when not actively soaping/rinsing so 5 min max each. In kitchen area, paint/plaster occasionally spontaneously falling from ceiling onto counters
