No need to rent a car, although gated parking is available. 10 minutes from Luis Munoz International Airport (SJU) and only 10 min Uber ride to Old San Juan. Our host met us and we were able to change out of travel clothes and hit beach while finishing cleaning/prep. Obviously, this place costs based on location, location, location -- it is close to the beach, Orozco's across street is excellent and convenient to rest of things we were doing (including short Uber to old town and then we scootered back).The unit is typical of being a little older and on the beach -- lighting a little too low, insulation from street noise not great, other dated things like bedding and bathrooms.But, again, it's the location close to the beach and good eats close by that made staying here a good sequi to the cruise we jumped on, and folks are looking forward to coming back to San Juan another time!

The apartment was beat up a bit. Bathrooms are nice. Air conditioning very good. In a very loud night life and construction zone. On a main strip where youth drive thru at night blasting music. Construction workers start pounding at 6:30 am. Property manager very nice and responsive.
