About this house rental
Come and catch the Island Fever at our home away from home in beautiful Port Aransas. This in-town rental is located on the popular 11th street within the Royal Palms community, a collection of 26 cottages that was inspired by Key West. Close to the beach and just a quick golf cart ride into town to the local shops and your favorite restaurants. Island Fever is a few short steps to the community pool. This four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home is perfect for your family getaway to the beach!
Once you walk in the front door you will feel like you are on vacation with the beachy decor and lots of natural light in the family room. The property has stained concrete floors on the first floor and hardwood floors on the second story. In the living room is a flat-screen TV, a comfortable sofa and an armchair to relax on at the end of the day. A half bathroom is located nearby. Enter the large kitchen with a dining table that offers seating for eight guests. Off the dining is the door to access the side yard with a charcoal grill for your use. The well-stocked kitchen and grill offer everything you need to cook your own catch!
Directly off the kitchen is a bedroom that boasts a sofa, armchair and an additional flat-screen TV. The twin-size bunk beds can sleep your smaller travelers and the space is complete with a full bathroom. As you make your way up the stairs to the second floor you will find the other three bedrooms and two additional bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom has twin-size bunk beds. Each room has a flat-screen TV and a shared bathroom close by.
There is parking for three vehicles at this vacation home. Additional parking for cars, boats, trailers and RVs is nearby for a small fee.
Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, fresh towels and linens and Silver Sands concierge service. Golf carts are available to rent. The house is as listed. It’s a very nice place. Great location for our stay. Lots of room.
Kitchen is not FULLY stocked with what you need to cook, so you may have to purchase some things.
The beds are not as comfy as we would like. I thought about purchasing f mattress toppers. If we had stayed for longer than 3 nights, I would have made the purchase. Don't mis-interpret my review. We most definitely will stay here again. In my opinion, a few changes and it would be fantastic!!!!! Suggestions have been made to the host.
As mentioned, it is a nice home and location is great. Super easy to access the beach. Parking available for 2 vehicles and a golf cart. There is a community pool.
We did have a little issue accessing the cable channels in the living room, but managed after a few minutes. Possibly tech challenged. LOL
The downstairs bedroom we were only able to access the spectrum channel 1 and Netflix (when it wasn’t being used by the owner of the login).
Having a grill on the back patio was nice. We grilled out and enjoyed the outdoor with friends.
AC works VERY WELL!!!!!
We did use Joy Joy golf cart rental, which is just 1/4 mile away. Easy access.
We didn’t have any issues with anything during our stay. Communication was good before our arrival. Access to the unit was easy and accurate.
We will definitely stay again when in Port A!!!

Great place lots of room. Great location! Had a couple of minor issues but they were handled quickly. My only complaint would be the strong cigarette smell when you enter. Thanks for making our stay great

We really enjoyed our stay, we spent time on the beach that was a very short drive away. Cooked all our meals in home, which was awesome. Really had a great time and relaxed, which is what we were looking for.

The place was nice and as advertised. However, there were several items that took away from the stay. There was mold, dirt or something in the upstairs bathroom near the air vent. We had ants in the kitchen and a cockroach or something similar in one of the downstairs bathroom.
