About this house rental

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy private, neighborhood beach access to Hills Pond and Sunset Lake or go play on the big lake (Winnipesaukee) in town. Hiking trails galore around and close to Gunstock mountain for winter skiing. Boat launch is available for anyone who wants to bring their own boat.

New to 2022! We have two, single person kayaks for guest use.

How lucky are we to have spent time here during the 4th of July. Our little family had such a lovely time. Communication with the owners was excellent and they were very quick to respond and answer any questions we had. The beds were super comfortable and everything beckoned us to relax and take our time. The kitchen housed a full sized oven and the refrigerator was nice and clean. We also took advantage of the outside grill and the beautiful view from the deck. A quick walk to Hills Pond was the perfect remedy for our 11 year old twins who learned how to dive off the floating dock this summer. In addition, the house felt like we were far from all the complexities of day to day but still close enough to shopping, pizza, tacos and ice cream! All of this together added up to a perfect vacation and recharge. If you are considering coming to Alton Bay, this house is the perfect retreat.

Neighborhood was very quiet yet in close proximity to the beach. Very comfortable beds and furniture, new washer & drier, and had a very well stocked kitchen. Our family was very blessed and grateful for this vacation! Mary was great to work with and this was one of the best VRBO rental experiences we've ever had thank you very much! Brian & Linda

We had seven adults staying in the home and it accommodated us just fine. A few people enjoyed going out in the kayaks and hiking in the area which was very nice. All in all very nice home. Dealing with Mary was very nice. She was very accommodating as well! We would definitely stay there again
