About this cottage rental
Gorgeous mountain views from two screened porches, fast wifi, king suite, hot tub, and space to stretch out: family relaxation awaits at Ridgetop Retreat. In this quiet neighborhood, roosters crow and and cows low in the distance as you play croquet in the expansive yard, or take short drives to hiking, rafting, ziplines, shopping, and dining around Burnsville and Asheville. Four bedrooms and three baths sleep 8. Come experience life on the ridge!
The space
Set on over an acre, Ridgetop Retreat provides mountain views from the main and upper screen porches plus an open-air main deck, with rockers, dining tables, and a large lounge on the main porch and Adirondack chairs on the porch off the master bedroom.
Inside, the main floor features a spacious living room with gas fireplace and 55" TV, a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with two twins, with full bath. Downstairs features a well-stocked game room with TV and full bath; upstairs, the spacious master bedroom has a seating area and standing/seated desk space (with speedy internet), and full bath with tub. All bedside lamps include a USB port, and the rooms have plenty of outlets for all your electronics.
Cooks will love the large, well-lit prep space in the well-stocked kitchen, with new induction range, new fridge, dishwasher, microwave, plenty of dishes and serving pieces, slow cooker, blender, hand mixer, toaster, coffee maker, French press, and Keurig. Eat inside at the expandable dining table or at the bar-height tables on the screened porch, all with expansive mountain views.
The garage space has a washer and dryer and a basketball arcade game, chairs for the firepit, and a croquet set.
Outside, enjoy the firepit in the front yard—keep an eye out for cows that come up to the fence!--and the hot tub on the back deck.

This is a great spot!
This property itself is at an awesome location with a beautiful view. Wrap around decks on multiple levels accent that.
It was clean upon arrival. The hosts were clear and communicative. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary things needed to prepare the food we brought.
The kids really enjoyed themselves and so did we! We came with another family and it was plenty spacious enough for us all.
We would highly recommend this property and would book again.
