About this house rental
Our spacious home comfortably sleeps 6 adults with a large principal bedroom suite with a king-size bed conveniently located on the ground floor, upstairs is a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a third bedroom with two double beds. Guests will have their privacy as each bedroom has its own connected bathroom with shower. You can soak up the sun on the bright upstairs deck, enjoy the shaded downstairs patio or relax floating along the beautiful lazy-river swimming pool surrounded by native fauna and flora. Located just north of the city within walking distance to Xcalacoco beach, beach clubs, kayak rentals and sea-side massage. 20 minute drive to the heart of Playa's famous 5th Avenue and ferry to Cozumel. Close to PGA golfing at Mayakoba and Xcaret eco parks.
The home is fully equiped with:
- quick WiFi (30-40 Mbps)
- gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator
- full-size laundry washer and dryer
- individually controlled air conditioning throughout the house
- large TV with streaming (Netflix, Disney, Star+, YouTube)
- poolside patio with gas grill
- two desks (one with a 27 inch computer monitor)

The home is conveniently located in El Cielo, a gated, quiet neighborhood in which you can stroll the streets where you might see native animals such as coati, sereque and occasionally spider monkeys. Xcalacoco public beach and beach clubs such as Petit Lafitte and Mvngata is are a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the back gate of the neighborhood.
Off the downstairs patio is a gorgeous lazy river pool shared with the 20 homes making up the Hacienda Del Rio. Access to the pool is exclusively for residents and guests. So you can enjoy it with security and peace,

Our fmaily of 7 enjoyed spending a week, staying in this home while exploring Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, and Tulum from here. We rented a car, followng recommendation and it was a great decision for us. The owners and local host (Lola) were incredibly helpful before and during our stay. We could not have had such a successful trip without their help and advice. It was so appreciated.
The home was clean and exactly as described. It truly was a peaceful place to land after an exciting day of adventure. The kids loved the pool and we regret not taking more time to just relax and stay home. We tried to pack too much exploring in and really missed the chance to restore by the pool and enjoy peace and quiet.
Lola was a comfort and source of support during our stay. She wlecomed us, helped solve travel problems, and gave us great advice on restautrants, shops, and adventures. She was ao kind and made a special impact on our time in Mexico.
We would 100% recommend this home and hope to return again one day.

Well equipped, clean condo, and spacious, for our two different family groups who stayed with us different weeks of our four week stay. Lola was a great host and always answered quickly the questions we asked. All the appliances are fairly new and work very well. Great to have a gas bbq. Lots of dishes, pots and pans and utensils etc. Also many spices and oils , sugar , salt etc. in cupboards so you don’t have to go out immediately and buy stuff.
We were spoiled before because we stayed at Mareazul two years ago which is right on the beach, and this condo is not, hence only gave 4 stars for location, plus the traffic on highway is extreme and sometimes difficult to get out when heading to PDC. The beach close by is also not the best beach, unlike the beach at Mareazul which is beautiful.The parking for it is horrendous.Don’t ever drive to the close beach on a Sunday! Lesson learned! Esmeralda beach, also close by, is a better beach. We always rent cars when in Mexico so we’re able to drive to other beaches and other places. Xpu Ha beach is great but prices for beach chairs and umbrellas has doubled - $400-500 pesos for two chairs and umbrella. Would have been great if the condo owner had some beach chairs for us to use. They are hard to find to buy, and ridiculously expensive when you do find them! There is a beach umbrella in condo but no screw end for the sand and therefore not safe to use on a windy day.
All in all, a very nice unit with great sunroof patio.

The condo is nice and in a good neighborhood,a car is recommended however. We enjoyed the pool and the rooftop patio. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal and we used the BBQ almost every night. The neighbors across from the condo have some pretty loud kids but not enough to ruin our stay. I would recommend the condo to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
