Beautiful sun-lit 3BR 2BA modern cottage in downtown Aiken, just 3 blocks to Whiskey Alley and over 20 restaurants and bars.
This craftsman home has a large open common area with modern fixtures, elegant and functional traditional shutters, double sided fireplace, and sleek black subway tile mirrored alcoves. The living and dining room have been flipped so working in the gourmet kitchen isn't cut off from the rest of the party. The dining table seats 6 comfortably so the property is ideal for couples' and family vacations.
The 3 bedrooms feature high-end mattresses with varying firmness and the 2 bathrooms are bright and cheery with the primary featuring a luxurious walk in shower with multiple shower heads.
A screened in porch on the back of the home comes with comfortable cushioned patio furniture surrounding a fire table to take the chill off as well as overhead fans for the warmer evenings.
Several cars can be fit in the back of the home and the driveway so they don't have to be parked on the street. For long term rentals please inquire about garage availability.

The property is perfect in every way. It is convenient (walkable) to town. The decor is fantastic. The size is perfect. The hosts were helpful and available for any questions. Everything was as, or better than, expected. We have stayed in this property twice and it will always be our first choice for a stay in Aiken.

The house was clean, accurately described, and the check-in process was very smooth. The owner was responsive when we experienced a clogged sink issue and did provide a small partial refund, which was appreciated. Something to note- two of the bedrooms had extremely hard mattresses and the third bedroom had a very soft one. The description does note the beds vary in firmness but the firm mattresses were very hard. We had a significant issue with the smoke detectors. One by one, they began beeping in the middle of the night due to the units being over 10 years old, which caused us to lose sleep on three separate nights during our stay. The owner eventually had someone come remove all of the smoke detectors, but they were never replaced while we were there. For us, that created a serious safety concern.Overall, the home itself was nice, but the smoke detector situation and the beds had a major impact on our experience.
