"Cabina Tucan" - Caribbean bungalow 250m from the beach, with dream pool & Eden garden

The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! After a long day of hiking, etc. it was so refreshing to end the day with a swim in the pool. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Daniel and Renata for an unforgettable vacation.

We have visited Costa Rica a few time over the years and this was the very best property we ever stayed at. Daniel and Renata love the natural beauty of Costa Rica and it shows on the property. The gardens are gorgeous and full of wild life and they have their own little jungle in the back of the property where I walked every chances I got. The pool is in a beautiful natural tropical setting, little yellow birds would take a dip in front of us in the afternoon . Daniel showed us the frogs at night and the various trees he has on the property (nutmeg, cinamon, pepper...) It is like having your own personnal guide. He also brought us fresh picked bananas every morning. Renata gave us an overview of what it is like to live in Costa Rica. They are full of informations. I loved the design of the Casita and the beautiful shower. The property is quite safe , close to everything. We rented a car but did not need to, the lady and her two young children in the next casita would text a tuk tuk to pick her up when needed, we will do that next time. We walked on the beach to reach a restaurant called Banana Azul also on the beach with resonable prices . The gardens are big, we saw monkeys, agoutis, frogs, armadillos, tucans, a caiman , etc etc. We enjoyed the property so much, there a days we would just sit on the patio, take a walk in the little jungle, jump in the pool and enjoy. Very relaxing . I strongly recommend this property and we will be back hopefully with family.

I solo traveled for one month Costa Rica! This was by far above and beyond what I could have Imagined. Gorgeous property with its own jungle walk. I saw Howler monkeys, a cayman, a two toed sloth which spend a few days hanging out just outside my bungalow. Birds everywhere Butterfly’s, and Flowers! If you like art this place is for you. From inside each bungalow to all around the grounds you will see murals

Wonderful time at the home for 2 days with mother. Fantastic hosts, amazingly beautiful garden, clean and super swimming pool. A great stay in playa negra, so close to puerto viejo downtown!
