Parkeren van de auto is niet voorzien, er is wel een parkeergarage onder het gebouw maar deze is niet bij de huur inbegrepen. Het zou het verblijf nog comfortabeler kunnen maken.

L'appartement est très bien agencé, c'était très propre. Superbe piscine, sans chlore j'aime beaucoup. A 2 pas la belle plage. Environnement calme et agréable. Et pour finir que ce soit Jordi qui nous accueilli ou Natalia avec qui nous avons échangé par message la communication était très sympathique.

We booked this apartment at very short notice with limited options available, so it was something of a gamble. Overall, it proved perfectly reasonable for the price paid. The welcome touches were genuinely appreciated. Providing a bottle of chilled water and cava, together with essentials such as olive oil, salt and other pantry basics, was a thoughtful gesture. The apartment was clean, well presented and finished to a good standard for this price point. The living area was generously sized, with a comfortable sofa and enough space for me to work from the dining table. The climate control deserves particular praise. Between the air conditioning, shutters and sun blinds, the apartment remained wonderfully cool despite the Catalan summer heat. The kitchen is perfectly adequate for simple cooking, with a supermarket only a few minutes’ walk away. The sea views are lovely if you choose the right spot on the terrace, and the nearby beach is only a short stroll away. Cambrils harbour and old town are around a 20-minute walk, which we enjoyed. A small practical point: although clearly explained in the booking information, the cleaning fee and local tourist taxes require a cash payment at check-in, approximately €100 in our case. Not a problem, but worth knowing before arrival.

The internet was not really suitable for working remotely. Video calls repeatedly dropped and the connection was unreliable, so I had to rely on 5G instead. Fortunately, the mobile signal was excellent. The rooftop terrace is a real missed opportunity. With relatively little investment it could be spectacular, but currently it feels rather neglected. We were also surprised to find only two small bath towels in the apartment, a couple more would have been a welcome addition. The building is clearly family-oriented, which will suit some guests perfectly. For us, however, the atmosphere was less appealing. Unfortunately, the shine was taken off our stay by the experience of dealing with the management company. The check-in and check-out processes felt unnecessarily burdensome and impersonal, with a disproportionate emphasis on rules and obligations rather than hospitality. The apartment itself is perfectly respectable for the price, but the overall experience was diminished by a management approach that did not mind enforcing procedure at the expense of making guests feel like an inconvenience. Unlike our many previous stays in Cambrils, we found ourselves looking forward to leaving and would not return. Our rating reflects the experience created by the management company rather than the apartment itself.
