Vila Golf

The villa is spacious and modern . Inside the rooms are big and have everything you need . The outside space is very good . The pool is large and the outside sun beds are comfy . The two kitchens are fully equipped for you to self cater should you wish to . The sound system in the villa is great and being able to play music whilst outside was great . The bedrooms are all comfortable with good showers and bathroom facilities. Outside is a dartboard which the kids loved and the floating sunbeds were great . The upstairs kitchen has a large gas bbq which was good and all the kitchen appliances were high end . The tv had a good range of channels and you could stream Netflix or sky . The villa is literally on the edge of the golf course with golfers playing. They don’t encroach on the space but you do see them throughout the morning mostly aswell as the staff cutting the grass every day . The villa felt safe and is fully alarmed and has shutters . It is situated in a good , quiet location . Although you do need a car to get to things . It was under 10 minutes to the marina and beach but you couldn’t really walk in the heat . A supermarket is about 3 minutes drive to get everything you need . It’s a 25 minute drive from faro airport and we were met on arrival by the property manager to hand over the keys and talk us through the villa facilities. Every room has air con which is appreciated in the heat . There’s also a washing machine and drying airer to get your things washed . The upstairs kitchen is were we ate every day and has good views over the golf course . It has a large sun shade.

The villa is lovely and very high tech with controls for everything which is great , a little overwhelming if you’re not hot on technology. The outside kitchen is amazing but a little annoying that it’s not connected to the downstairs space other than outside stairs . You need to be able bodied to get up and down the stairs definitely. The villa is surrounded by trees and bits do fall off the trees all day and drop into the pool and the outside area which was a little annoying. However without them there wouldn’t be shade so that’s the sacrifice and having to sweep and clean out the pool . The pool and garden people did come 3 times over our stay , rather than the once that we expected . They also turned on the sprinklers so they soaked the shaded seating area for 20 minutes at lunchtime. I’m sure I could have contacted the manager and got them turned off which I didn’t do , but not really sure why they didn’t think that would be annoying . I would have liked to have been able to walk to things rather than drive to be an ideal location. The golf course is both nice to look over but you do hear the grass cutting in the mornings. We were very lucky that for some of our stay the next door villa was empty and the adjoining villa to this also empty. There was then a workman banging away on a few days as it’s under renovation . This villa is attached so once occupied you will feel very close to the neighbours and the pool will be overlooked. The WiFi was also hit and miss upstairs and in all the bedrooms . They do have routers in all the rooms but it wasn’t working well other than the main living area unless you kept resetting it all the time upstairs .

Fabulous Vila, great pool and inside had everything needed including satellite tv and ac in every room. You definitely need a car as nearest small supermarket is 2kms away and nearest Lidl is a 15 minute drive.
