Wish it was closer to more food amenities

Ken is a wonderful host and cooked us a hearty breakfast and sat down with us to talk and we shared interesting travel experiences. It is big, spacious house with lots of rooms and a great outlook over the surrounding farmland with a view of the Rockies in the distance.

The house is stunning and everyone there was very friendly and welcoming! The vibe was very laidback and chill which we appreciated. However I didn’t appreciate being told I still needed to pay for my stay even though I had paid through booking.com when I booked my stay. I even showed my receipt from booking and double checked my credit card statement to make sure it went through and it did. I explained that he needed to discuss it with booking because I did already pay. We got a tour around the facilities which were vast and very nice! The bed was comfortable and seemed clean however the bathroom is where our room could have used some work; the tile in the shower was grimey and there was mold stains on the ceiling. My biggest turn off and deal breaker came when I got out of the shower and noticed the towel I dried off with had brown stains on it! Gross!
