Beautiful mountain view, clean. Fireplace a nice touch, comfy beds. Nice decor, cozy cabin feel.
Walls are very thin, can hear movement and sounds from other guests. Location is hard to find, not much signage to show which road to turn into. Check-in was unclear because I didn't receive communications due to booking through a third party site (I had to call and get emailed instructions, luckily right before they stopped checking people in over the phone at 9pm). I'm lucky I had some signal to do this, and am more tech savvy to complete the online check in but this would have been difficult for someone used to in-person check ins.

Very nice, clean rooms and comfy beds
The room did not have a/c and it was 83 degrees when we got to the room. We had to sleep with door to balcony open and fan blowing in cooler air from outside. There was a screen door, but a little unnerving sleeping in a strange place and having to leave door open. It may have said no a/c on the booking page, but I did not notice it. My husband was not happy not having a/c. From now on, I will be making sure where we stay has a/c!

I stayed at this property while traveling with my legitimate, trained, and certified service dog, who I rely on due to a disability. The owner, however, accused me of violating his no-pet policy, threatened me with extra charges and deposits, and made me feel entirely unwelcome and unsafe at his property.
Shortly after we arrived at the property, the owner messaged me, asking if I have a dog. I responded that I do have a service dog, and described tasks that she performs. The owner was clearly not satisfied with my responses, repeatedly challenged Molly being a service dog, and kept referring to her as a pet or an emotional support animal. He questioned my dog’s behaviour and claimed that she did not «act like a service animal», i.e., barked two times (I accidentally stepped on her, my bad!) and could be heard walking on the wooden floors; he was making his accusations without so much as being visibly present at the property.
The owner only ever communicated with me over text, and his tone was extremely confrontational and unprofessional. He wanted me to put down a deposit of $200 in case Molly scratches the floors in my room (which were already quite scratched up without any help from us), and also wanted to charge me an extra $75 cleaning fee. To the best of my knowledge, both the deposit and extra cleaning fees for a service dog are illegal.
Overall, my experience staying at the Terra Vista was abysmal, I felt unwelcome and scrutinized throughout my stay. I would not recommend to anyone with a disability, or indeed to anyone at all, to stay there. A business that does not welcome people with disabilities does not truly welcome anyone. Travelers with service animals or disabilities should be especially cautious before booking here.
P.S. As was already mentioned in other comments, the hotel is extremely cheaply build and walls are paper thin.

A beautiful chalet in a picturesque location, perfect for exploring the Olympic Peninsula.
The communal space in the property is wonderfully furnished and so inviting. The gas fireplace in the bedroom makes it oh so cosy on a chilly evening and the host included thoughtful touches like a sound machine.
Even with the earplugs and sound machine, as a light sleeper, noises from the adjoining rooms did carry through the walls.

It was remote in the woods, and quiet. We saw elk and deer while we were there.
You need to bring your own food and beverages except for the tea and coffee with the Keurig machine. No TV which was ok with us.

Nothing, very disappointed with everything
Location is very difficult to find in the evening, the bed no comfort(just a throw covered on the bed), and no front desk and any help in the house at all.when we got into the room we found they don’t have comfort on on the bed, then we called the number they showed in the messages and lobby, but no answer at all.My husband and I had to sleep with my sweaters and long pants because it is cold in the night. An other reason because the throw and the sheet on the bed look dirty, we don’t want to touch them.

Quiet and scenic location.
Very much overpriced. Fair at best finishings in good location. Exterior needs cleaning and junk removed.

Room was clean spacious and comfortable
To have staff on site to answer questions and deal with questions. Did not provide room service and clean towels daily.

The property was in a secluded area which made you feel one with nature. Deer were everywhere. Rooms were lovely, comfortable, and clean. Everything you needed
I was ok with it, but should be noted-no tv.

What breakfast, views were satisfactory
Grounds upkeep sucked, rooms were very limited furnished and deck chairs were metal and uncomfortable. Windows were dirty, as was bathroom floors. Walls were paper thin.

Calm place in the forest on the edge of the national forest park. Very green surroundings, deers, the river. Huge living room area to chill. Clean bedroom and neutral smell. Great smell of wood. A good place to wind down a bit, away from the city, from many people. Good place for the soul.
Coffee machine in my room was nice, but I didn’t like the exact model, how it’s to be operated (though you get used to it), and its water tank wasn’t clean. Everything else was very clean.

Beautiful nature setting, sound of the birds and the river. Nice building interior and room decor.
Zero soundproofing. The noise coming from the other rooms was quite loud, not the guests themselves but rather the plumbing, showers and toilet flushing.

Was a good location for exploring the Olympic National Park. Loved the woodland setting. Enjoyed the fire.
We found hairs in the shower and bed. We also had a number of large ants in the room on our arrival. Although there was a coffee machine and microwave, it would have been useful to have a few more catering items like plates, bowls and cutlery. The bed was comfortable but the frame needs attention due to the right side having a squeak due to some tightening of bolts required, this wasn’t ideal throughout the night, although we slept well.

We loved the area! It was far from the main road, quiet, and the facilities were clean. The host was very responsive and helpful!
We were not sure how to start the fire place.

The location. The very thoughtful decor. The view. The gas fire place and the large bed... The large shower cubicle.
A beautiful place to relax, sit on a balcony and just enjoy nature all around the place. The large room downstairs with books and a record player and games, and a lovely large couch facing the view...
Easy to check in, via messages from the host, who was very responsive and helpful. This is a really hidden place, at the end of a narrow unpaved road, so best drive up in a small car, and better not to look for it in the dark.
Walls are _pretty_ thin, so everything can be heard - felt a bit worried about using the bathroom late at night as we did not want to wake up our neighbours. Could hear the couple next door. Did not expect to have to use ear plugs in the middle of a quiet forest, tbh.
Toilet bowl in our bathroom shifted slightly every time when used.
Shower had hot water only when the tap of the hand basin was turned on as well fully, felt bad about wasting so much water. Shower gel etc. were put on the top shelf where it was quite difficult to reach them. Not every traveller is 6 feet tall.

I definitely loved the view and it was super clean and comfortable. I booked this last minute so I was a little nervous but was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was.
We were very pleased no issues :)

The views were beautiful from the room and the rooms were well decorated and comfortable. We loved stepping out on the balcony and being in the trees and hearing the Elwha River.
It’s a little stuck between a hotel and Airbnb. Access to a kitchen would really enhance the stay or having breakfast provided because we loved spending time on the property but there’s no where close to either cook or get a hot meal.

hot water didn’t work at night and couldn’t get the fireplace on. instructions or ease of functioning would have been great!

Luxe en ruime kamer in zeer goede staat. Rustige plek.
