Very beautiful stay and would go again, but needs better staffing and more sound insulation.
Beautiful mountain view, clean. Fireplace a nice touch, comfy beds. Nice decor, cozy cabin feel.
Walls are very thin, can hear movement and sounds from other guests. Location is hard to find, not much signage to show which road to turn into. Check-in was unclear because I didn't receive communications due to booking through a third party site (I had to call and get emailed instructions, luckily right before they stopped checking people in over the phone at 9pm). I'm lucky I had some signal to do this, and am more tech savvy to complete the online check in but this would have been difficult for someone used to in-person check ins.

Loved the location and the room. Just needed air conditioning!
Very nice, clean rooms and comfy beds
The room did not have a/c and it was 83 degrees when we got to the room. We had to sleep with door to balcony open and fan blowing in cooler air from outside. There was a screen door, but a little unnerving sleeping in a strange place and having to leave door open. It may have said no a/c on the booking page, but I did not notice it. My husband was not happy not having a/c. From now on, I will be making sure where we stay has a/c!

People with disabilities are not welcome here
I stayed at this property while traveling with my legitimate, trained, and certified service dog, who I rely on due to a disability. The owner, however, accused me of violating his no-pet policy, threatened me with extra charges and deposits, and made me feel entirely unwelcome and unsafe at his property. Shortly after we arrived at the property, the owner messaged me, asking if I have a dog. I responded that I do have a service dog, and described tasks that she performs. The owner was clearly not satisfied with my responses, repeatedly challenged Molly being a service dog, and kept referring to her as a pet or an emotional support animal. He questioned my dog’s behaviour and claimed that she did not «act like a service animal», i.e., barked two times (I accidentally stepped on her, my bad!) and could be heard walking on the wooden floors; he was making his accusations without so much as being visibly present at the property. The owner only ever communicated with me over text, and his tone was extremely confrontational and unprofessional. He wanted me to put down a deposit of $200 in case Molly scratches the floors in my room (which were already quite scratched up without any help from us), and also wanted to charge me an extra $75 cleaning fee. To the best of my knowledge, both the deposit and extra cleaning fees for a service dog are illegal. Overall, my experience staying at the Terra Vista was abysmal, I felt unwelcome and scrutinized throughout my stay. I would not recommend to anyone with a disability, or indeed to anyone at all, to stay there. A business that does not welcome people with disabilities does not truly welcome anyone. Travelers with service animals or disabilities should be especially cautious before booking here. P.S. As was already mentioned in other comments, the hotel is extremely cheaply build and walls are paper thin.

Beautiful chalet, a gem in the foothills of the Olympics.
A beautiful chalet in a picturesque location, perfect for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. The communal space in the property is wonderfully furnished and so inviting. The gas fireplace in the bedroom makes it oh so cosy on a chilly evening and the host included thoughtful touches like a sound machine.
Even with the earplugs and sound machine, as a light sleeper, noises from the adjoining rooms did carry through the walls.

Very relaxing stay that we used to see the Olympic NP.
It was remote in the woods, and quiet. We saw elk and deer while we were there.
You need to bring your own food and beverages except for the tea and coffee with the Keurig machine. No TV which was ok with us.

Over all experience is not worth the price
Nothing, very disappointed with everything
Location is very difficult to find in the evening, the bed no comfort(just a throw covered on the bed), and no front desk and any help in the house at all.when we got into the room we found they don’t have comfort on on the bed, then we called the number they showed in the messages and lobby, but no answer at all.My husband and I had to sleep with my sweaters and long pants because it is cold in the night. An other reason because the throw and the sheet on the bed look dirty, we don’t want to touch them.
