If you live in the city and want some natural beauty stay at this beautiful vintage boat.

Loved the Adventure,my kids 14&10 years old learned a lot and they keep saying they miss the boat! Angy and Emanuel were so friendly and quick with communication, easy access to Fiumicino airport and sandy beach(5 minutes away). The local grocery store was so welcoming and they all make us feel like home.

Cosy boat stay in the Marina of Lido di Ostia

It is a very special opportunity to sleep on a boat in a marina. It was very cosy and the sky was beautiful. Such a nice adventure. The marina has lots of great restaurants around to eat at. We only stayed for one night, but take at least 2 if you can. There is a beach about 20min walk from the boat. The communication with Angelo was very easy and kind. Great stay!

Be aware that you will sleep on a boat. It is swaying and there is limited space. We loved this!

Amazing experience!

Amazing experience: clean, pretty spacious, good location, food supplies for breakfast, enough water in the tank, beautiful views, but the most important - the host Angelo! Very caring and friendly, right person in the right place. We hope to come back someday!

On a boat

It was just great to have the experience of staying in a boat for a couple nights. It was peaceful and kind of like camping. The weather turned while we were there, as a storm was coming. Unfortunately the storm didn't come, it rained and the wind picked up, but nothing as exciting as being on a boat in a storm might have been. Lol. I wasn't sea sick, the motion and sound of the water rocked us to sleep. Memorable experience indeed 😁

I can't think of anything we didn't like.... A bigger boat perhaps.

Great adventure for kids

A great spot for the kids - they spent their evenings playing with the cold shower in the bow of the boat, feeding the fish, crabs and swans. Wonderful service. Rich italian breakfasts, and we also got home wine for dinner (thank you Fabio!). On the boat, there is a tiny bathroom with a hot shower, 2 toilets, and if someone feels too cramped - there is an entry card to the closed port bathrooms (clean and spacious). Beds are comfortable, we slept 10 hours each night. TV with Netflix, wifi. Free beach just outside the port. There are some nice restaurants and bars in the port.

This place is a great idea as a stop before or after staying in Rome. Trying to combine attractions - going to the ostian beach in the day, sightseeing in Rome in the afternoon/evening - is very difficult. Apparently, there are bus and train connections, but almost every day we had to return from somewhere on the way home by taxi (40-50 Eur) - because there was no electricity and the trains stopped... because tracks were being welded... Etc etc... Ostia itself (outside the port) is quite dirty.

Boat was clean. We have three kids 8 ,7, 3 and they loved it. Everyone slept very well. The owner was brilliant and very helpful with food and taxi's. We only stayed one night but it would make a fantastic base to see Rome for a few days. Highly recommend.

Great experience - a must do

Great Expierence, The boat is allot bigger than the photos show. The host is very helpful and was on hand 24/7 if we had any issues. The port where the boat is loacted has great restaurants and facilitys. To own your own boat for 24hours i would highly reccomend, Very close to the Airport.

L’emplacement au beau milieu du port était génial pour sortir le soir et aller manger dans les nombreux restaurants alentours. La plage publique est à 5 mn à pieds. Angelo a été un hôte parfait qui a su rendre le séjour agréable. Il nous a prêté des parasols pour ne pas avoir à louer des transats au beach clubs. Tout le nécessaire est fourni (cuisine et hygiène). Ainsi que des petites attentions pour l’apéro . L’environnement est très calme et très appréciable après la frénésie de la semaine romaine. Le bateau était parfait pour 3 personnes car forcément c’est assez exiguë (faisable mais compliqué pour 5 adultes par exemple) mais 2 toilettes et 1 salle de bains et heureusement la climatisation ! Prévoyez tout de même les boule quies si vous avez le sommeil léger à cause de la Clim. Sinon allez y les yeux fermés

Ein assergewöhnliches und rundum gelungenes Erlebnis auf einem komfortablen Boot im Hafen.

Per Zufall bin ich auf diese Unterkunft gestossen. Ich wusste aber auf den ersten Blick: Das muss ich ausprobieren! Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht – das ist ein Erlebnis, das man unbedingt ausprobieren sollte. Wir waren zu viert auf dem Boot, und der Platz zum Schlafen war gut aufgeteilt. Mit 1,80 m war das Doppelbett zwar etwas zu kurz, aber das Einzelbett war super. Das Boot liegt ruhig im Hafen, sodass es keinen Wellengang gibt. Hin und wieder schaukelt es leicht, wenn ein anderes Boot vorbeifährt, aber das ist keineswegs störend. Überrascht war ich, dass ich nicht einmal durch die startenden und landenden Flugzeuge am Morgen geweckt wurde, obwohl der Hafen direkt in der Nähe des Flughafens liegt. Im Boot sorgt eine Klimaanlage für angenehme Temperaturen, auch bei grosser Hitze. Ich war nur drei Tage auf dem Boot, aber ich hätte gerne noch weitere Nächte dort verbracht. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Angelo ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Boot ist sehr sauber. In einem Boot zu nächtigen ist einfach anders , aber anders gut. Die Aussicht am Morgen , tagsüber und am Abend sind einfach WOW. Wir würden das gerne wieder machen.

Bellissima imbarcazione dotata di ogni comfort, che unisce il classico ai moderni devices. Posizione perfetta all'interno del Porto per godere di un tramonto mozzafiato. Il proprietario disponibilissimo e davvero gentile!

Geweldig lieve man die ons alles uitlegde over de boot en de accommodaties in de haven. Boot was heel netjes en gerieflijk. Zoals van een boot verwacht kan worden zijn alle ruimtes compact maar weldoordacht ingericht. De bedden waren comfortabel en niet te krap (belangrijk voor mensen tussen de 180 en 185 cm)
