Lovely 2 Bed Home with views

We liked the large bathroom that had a great spacious shower & plenty of bench space. The single 2 (or 4 at a pinch) seater lounge was very comfortable. We are used to a larger kitchen, but even though it was on the small side it contained everything we needed & was functional for us two. Although FTA TV channels are limited, the TV has a few catch-up channels as well as Netflix & YouTube for adequate TV entertainment. For us that live in a perfect climate, the air conditioner heat pump coped very well with Tasmania’s winter temperatures. The home’s aspect with the sun coming through the large windows also helped keep the living room & kitchen warm during the day. We didn’t have any problems 3 point turning the RAV4 hire car in the carport & driveway to drive back down the driveway, but it could be a bit more challenging in a larger vehicle with a poor turning circle. Free Wi-Fi is provided but if tethering a mobile phone to a laptop is preferred, a good Telstra mobile phone signal can be received in the house. Being in a quiet area & a short drive to Hobart or south to Kingston, the location is quite good. We found the house clean & tidy when we arrived. The hosts gave good clear friendly communication.

The small “dining” table was disappointing. For example; whenever we wanted to eat at the table we needed to clear away our laptop & other articles to make room. A decent size table would be a definite improvement. We slept in the bedroom next to the carport. The queen size mattress in that room was good, but due to the slat base the bed was a bit rocky when one of us turned over. Medium height soft pillows would be a nice option.

The house was lovely very cosy and comfortable we enjoyed our stay wasnt far from the shops and the view is absolutly beautiful

The unit is very spacious and clean. It has all the basic essentials for traveling families. The view is amazing as you can see the whole Hobart from a distance. The communication and instructions from the host was very clear. I highly recommend this place for families.
