Family getaway with 9 people. Great house, very comfortable

The house is just as pictured, a perfect place for a family of 10. We really enjoyed everything about the house itself. We had a few issues pop up. One was that the outside garbage had not been emptied prior to our arrival, and they were quickly filled after shopping for food for 10 people. Vacasa had someone come out once to empty it, but it really needs to be done multiple times when a large group is staying since they have 2 very small outdoor garbage cans. The bigger issue was that we only had hot water the first 2 days of our 6 days. On day 3 I emailed early in the morning, and it took 8 hours to get a response. Their response was to make sure the water heater was turned on even though it was located behind a locked door. After I responded it took another 7 hours to reply that a ticket had been put in. Once person came to check and could not fix it. They wanted to schedule someone for 9PM, we declined. We were leaving the next day. 36 hours after check out I got a text from a plumber that they were on their way. They really need to do a better job with this. Things happen, but it shouldn't take 4 days of communication and technicians to fix this.

The house is exactly as pictured and was a good fit for a family of 10. Be aware that it is about a 30+ minute drive to pretty much everywhere from this location. We had a few small issues, some were quickly addressed and others it took Vacasa 7-8 hours to respond (even to messages sent in the AM). We were without hot water for a few days and Vacasa was not in a rush to get it taken care of. I was still getting messages from the plumber more than a day after checking out about coming to the house to fix things so I am not sure that communication is a strong point for them
