We were staying in Island Park to visit Yellowstone. We had a wonderful time visiting the parks and all around the WY/ID and MT area but would like to mention some key things that we wish we would have known when we booked. First off and most important - this home is beautiful BUT is a good 55 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone. This added considerably to our daily drive and had we known would not have stayed here. If you look at the reviews, one visitor mentions a 30 minute drive, this is not true. Secondly, but just as important is the fact that the last 20 minutes drive to the home is driven on gravel/dirt roads with some deep ruts and grooves on the roads. We were able to manage it with our minivan that we rented but if there was any type of weather or we drove faster than 10 mph I am not confident we could have made it to our place. An AWD vehicle is necessary and should be listed as a must on the property description. IF you don't mind the drive and have the right vehicle, the place is nice with lots of spread out space.

The Cabin is Very New and Very Clean. No need to worry about air-conditioning, this Cabin stays at the perfect temperature. Everything works, everything is new, everything is quality. The outside of the property had things for our kids to do. Awesome fire pit set up. Far enough away that you can see beautiful stars at night!
NOTE: Do not use "Waze App" to find property. Takes weird route.
Takes about 30 minutes to get to West Yellowstone Entrance.
They had board games for the kids. A bunch of amenities to make you feel like you're at home.
1000% worth it. 1000% recommend.

This home is a short drive down a dirt road, in a wooded area that is absolutely beautiful. It was peaceful, the outdoor area was nicely furnished for fire pit, and kid play! We drove to Yellowstone, The Tetons, the nearby state parks, and the Grizzly and Wolf center. We cooked out in the evenings. The house had everything you need to cook and grill and just enjoy the outdoors! The wifi was reliable for tv and phones as needed. I would not only rent this again..I would move right in! I think our whole party would agree, we were a party of 11 ages 2 - 55.
