BEST Location! Stunning Mountain Views, Ski-in/Ski-out, Base of both lifts!⛷🚠

Very nice property, and the host was excellent in service and communication. But there are a couple of things to be aware of that are completely outside the owner's control. Unfortunately for me at least, the incessant bass of the music from the Longhorn Saloon on the first floor of the building Thur thru Sat nights from about noon to sometimes after 10 pm becomes increasingly annoying. You can't hear the music, but the bass is almost impossible to mask. I did speak with the restaurant manager and although they claim they operate with the set decibel limit, they also did acknowledge the bass problem, and claimed when they had complaints, they did their best to address it, but if they're continually getting complaints, they're not really doing anything about it. But this is not just a problem with the Carleton, suspect all the hotels facing the lift base have the same issue.Another issue I had is the long code 9-10 digit code required to enter the building, coupled with two different keypad designs and sometimes poorly lit areas and worn-off numbers. This proved to a continuing nuisance over my two-week stay. Lastly, as I was there biking with my own bike, although the locker room on the parking level is fantastic, with the owner providing a sizeable locker to store stuff. But again, the number of and layout of the access doors that require both a code and threading your way in and out with your bike is not ideal. So biker's be aware.

The property and host, Nicole, were both amazing. The accommodations were as advertised. Everything was clean, appliances were new and the location is perfect. Nicole was very responsive and accommodating. Absolutely recommend.

This is the best location for Whistler skiing. Getting to have a view from your balcony/room of all the action at the base of the Whistler Gondola is such a great perk. The locker for skis/boots/gear is the largest I’ve ever seen and you walk right out to the gondola steps away. The condo is updated and has a nice feel to it, plenty of space for our family of 6, Nicole has done a great job with making the most of the space. Speaking of Nicole, she is the best host I’ve ever worked with. She was responsive, proactive, and made sure we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. Her parking and check in instructions were clear and helpful. Any question we asked she was on it so quickly. We had one issue from the previous guest and she took care of it with swift attention. It felt like she was on our side the whole time. Way to go, Nicole. Other perks: the Nespresso machine. Spices/kitchen extras for cooking. The TV is huge and made for great sports watching in the evenings. The balcony is such a lovely setting for soaking in the sun as it rises or sets. Very nice washer and dryer. Upgraded shower with 8 heads.

Everything was amazing! In the middle of everything…we will be back.
