Sensational view, spacious, stylish and special

This house was just perfect for our group of 9. The bedrooms were all a good size and kitchen was very well equipped. The views are magnificent and we were lucky to have some lovely weather. We didn't really use any of the facilities out the back of the house but spent a lot of time in the beautiful open plan lounge, dining, kitchen area.

Even though we were told in the booking about the steep driveway, we didn't realise just how steep it would be! We are all fit 60+ women but for us it was a little daunting walking up and down the drive. There are some steps to one side but the bushes are overgrown making it tricky to access and the path is still very steep. For this reason we probably wouldn't stay again just because of the risk of a fall.

The view from the balcony was the showstopper. Amazing views over the bay and surrounds. We spent a lot of time watching the ships leave and enter the bay. The house had plenty of room for our extended family break. Great layout and table tennis and hammocks to keep everyone happy.

The driveway is extremely steep. Several of our cars were defeated by this. This meant carrying everything up from the street. Great workout. Once you’re in the house there’s a lot more stairs. You need to be fit to stay here. Also, we had to hunt down remotes for the aircon. There seemed to be a shortage of these.
