Villa Giada

The villa. Cleanliness matters most to us, and here it was excellent. Classic style with real character: you will absolutely feel like an Italian aristocrat. Every day I found myself wondering who built the place, how people lived here before and what they did for a living. Antique furniture, paintings, rugs, the finishes throughout — every detail carries that long history. We had the entire ground floor to ourselves: two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a study and a spacious bathroom, plus a terrace, a garden and sun loungers on the roof. The rooftop loungers are simply wow — comfortable and completely private. Location. One minute on foot to the rocky beach, three minutes to the big sandy one. Cafés, bars and grocery stores are all nearby. For a seaside holiday the location is unbeatable. The host. We were welcomed by the lovely Luciana, who kindly offered to pick us up at the station. We understood each other right away with the help of Google Translate. Luciana lives on the second floor with her sister and father, with a separate entrance. Genuinely warm, kind people: they showed us around the area and recommended interesting spots and cafés. We rarely crossed paths — our privacy was fully respected. Trani. The town itself gave us a real sense of rest and ease. After travelling through Rome and Naples, here you can finally breathe out: a quiet seaside town with no tourist crowds and no pickpockets. Plenty of places for every taste, locals out until two in the morning in summer, spots for older visitors and for a younger crowd alike — we even stumbled on a small rock concert at a bar by the sea. In short. We were sad to leave. In three nights we grew incredibly attached to this place, its history and its rhythm of life. We will definitely come back — hopefully more than once, and for longer. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, closeness to the sea and the atmosphere of classic elegance.

Alles war super!!!

Die großzügige Villenetage vermittelt ein einzigartiges Wohngefühl. Zudem stellt sich sofort ein Urlaubsgefühl ein, wenn man die kleine ruhige Straße ein paar Meter vom Meer entfernt erreicht hat. Der Empfang durch die Eigentümerin Damiana war überaus herzlich und die Verständigung klappt problemlos. Sie gab uns sofort einige Tipps und war jederzeit erreichbar für Fragen, super hilfsbereit, dabei sehr diskret. Wir konnten jederzeit den wunderschön angelegten Garten benutzen, auch eine eigene Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen hatten wir neben unserer Eingangstür. Die Lage etwas abseits des Zentrums von Trani ermöglicht Spaziergänge am Meer in Richtung Strand und auch den romantischen Hafen, die schöne Altstadt und die Kathedrale kann man zu Fuß in ca. 25 min erreichen. Ein Teil des Weges führt entlang des Meeres oder durch den schönen Stadtpark.

Für uns war alles prima.
