We have just returned from an amazing week at this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Claudio and Max were especially helpful and we really enjoyed their very knowledgeable conversations. They made our stay at Villa Carola a very special one. Valeria on reception was extremely helpful too, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. Can`t wait to return.
We would definitely hire a car next time as the taxi`s were extortionate and only a couple of restaurants within walking distance down a very busy road with no pavement.

The location, design and the staff were very nice
The toilet (wc) doesn’t work the first night The jacuzzi doesn’t work, we have to ask for repairs
The resort doesn’t have room service
The pool bar beverages selection is either week or none, either flying sky priced
The restaurant doesn’t meet the expectations, the food being either overcooked either too salty either too acidic. However the dishes were very poor and the taste were completely wrong there were no harmony in the plate, to many tastes that doesn’t matches. To me, the menu has nothing to do with the authenticity of the place, it was, as they called, a reinterpretation of the Sardinian/Italian cuisine. If i may recommend, you better leave the italian culinary art as it is and focus on authentic traditional cuisine rather than offering the “reinterpretations”!
