Quite possibly the most charming place we’ve stayed over five decades of countless travels.

We have stayed at Des XV many times over the years and everything is always perfect. The mood that the staff creates is warm and intimate. The services are rendered perfectly, the meals are creatively prepared and the atmosphere is very tranquil.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel!! Luxury and history seamless merged. Our room was in the annex building which at first I was nervous about but the room was huge and beautiful! King size bed which is a treat in Europe and gorgeous bathroom/artwork/furnishings

Charming hotel in a nice and quiet location, with beautiful walking distance to Council of Europe.

This charming hotel is in an excellent location. Stayed there for work at the Council of Europe and starting and ending each day with a walk through the park is just perfect. The hotel is small and personal. Very attentive and serviceminded. Loved the rooms and the whole quiet neighbourhood. This is my new favourite hotel in Strasbourg and I will definately be back.

Amazing stay in Strasbourg!

The property is very nice, located in a perfect area- calm and residential. The hotel manager helped me to organise a birthday present for my friend! Thank you again!

Beautiful boutique hotel

The hotel is delightful and all staff were extremely friendly. The rooms are relatively small as you'd expect for a city hotel, but they have all the amenities you'd want and we felt it was excellent value for money. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was kitted out brilliantly. The bathroom was lovely and we appreciated all the toiletries.

Nothing that I can think of. We stayed there twice on our road trip as had such a great experience on the first visit. I'd definitely stay there again if I were to travel to Strasbourg again.

Excellent hotel with great staff. Its a bit far out of the centre but easy to get the bus/tram in. In the summer it would be a lovely walk. I would defo stay there again.

A perfect stay

Location and staff were excellent. It may be the friendliest and most relevant hotel in France. The breakfast was very nice and the kids loved it. There is a very warm family atmosphere. It is very nice that it is close to the center and there is no parking problem.

Everything was fine. It will be our only choice for our next visit. If you want a pleasant stay, you can go without thinking.

Amazing Stay!

Marianne and the other ladies were lovely and professional. Always attentive and ready to help. The breakfast selection was small, but tasty. Rooms and hotel were impeccably clean, beds were very comfortable and quiet rooms were given upon our request. We didn’t hear a thing even though there were other guests at the hotel. Bathroom was spacious and had good lighting. Area where the hotel is located was safe, quiet and accessible via bus route to the old town. Note that we stayed during December (Christmas market visit).

Rooms were a bit smaller than expected and as our rooms were booked on the last floor, they had some titled wooden beams that took a while to navigate around. Closets were very narrow and couldn’t hang all my coats. Hotel doesn’t have an elevator and we had to take narrow stairs to our rooms (we didn’t mind) but felt bad for the staff for carrying the heavy luggage. It takes around 30 min to get to old town, so if you don’t mind investing that time, then this is the perfect hotel in Strasbourg.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet corner of Strasbourg

The building, interiors and cleanliness were excellent, and the staff extremely friendly. The location is about 15 minutes' drive outwith the city center, but this was perfect for us as the hotel is just a couple of minutes' walk from the beautiful Parc de l'Orangerie.

Wonderful!

The staff is very kind and helpful. Due to car trouble we were stranded in Strasbourg for another night and the staff made sure we could stay in our (upgraded) hotel room for another night. Also the breakfast is great, the room beautiful and the location amazing. Just a 40 minute walk to the city centre and you can walk through the beautiful parc l’orangerie. Just an amazing stay 🤗

Terrible location far from everything except the Orangerie park. Bus stop right in front of the room made loud stops every 5 minutes. Squeaky floors and a superficial renovation.
