lovely cosy room, very friendly staff. Beautiful location with easy parking. The Wine tasting was fun and well presented.
Not much to do if you are not playing golf. We weren't aware of any walks, etc. The bed was small and had a very soft mattress. No phone reception (although that might be a good thing). The dinner menu was quite limited and the food was ok, but not amazing. Breakfast from 8.30 is quite late, and checkout at 10 is too early as well.

Lovely comfortable boutique hotel in Sussex countryside. Exceptional staff, enjoyable wine tasting, peaceful location, comfortable beds, very clean & traditionally styled.
Dining not available Monday/Tuesday - although being in tourism I understand this. Just FYI for others staying. However village 8min away for good casual dining & South Lodge 8min away for more upmarket offerings, so no problem.

Unique for the UK to have vineyard and tasting room.
Bedroom had infestation of ladybirds. Breakfast not served till 8.30, too late for my schedule.
