Cabo's Hidden Gem! Steps to the Marina or Beach

We loved the location of the property! literally just walked across the road and thru the fiesta hotel driveway and we were in the heart of the marina! Literally a 2 min walk. The bed was the most comfortable bed we slept in from our entire 6 week vacation. The property owners were delightful to deal with and kept in touch via WhatsApp informing me of things I needed to know and responding to my questions quickly. We were a family of three with our adult daughter taking the bedroom and we had the bed in the main area which was not a bother for us at all as we were out all day and only in accom for short durations to rest up ready for the evening events. I highly recommend Patty and Alex’s Cabo hidden gem accommodation for a couple or couple with one adult child. Our stay was an enjoyable one to say the least. We went out on a Marlin charter boat with our son who resides in Cabo. We had the best day and we all caught a Marlin! Such an amazing day out at sea. We saw pods of dolphins swimming and jumping alongside the boat and even saw a few tail whipping and jumping whales! An amazing sight to see. Our days were filled with adventure. We hired quad bikes and went out on a ranch about half hour drive from town. That was amazing. The view was spectacular. We dined at a variety of different restaurants every night. We drove out to Todos Santos and dined at the secluded Green Room on the beach. Bookings a must. We also drove out to San Jose del Cabo and went to the art walk markets. Held weekly on a Thursday and dined at Flora Farms to Table restaurant where bookings are also a must and I highly recommend the pork chop. Cabo’s marina is bustling with street hagglers but I found it quite expensive for what I thought México was but then again it’s in an area of wealth.

The height of the bed in the bedroom would be too high to accommodate small children safely.

A great apartment in a fantastic location close to the beach and the Marina. The complex has a pool that is very comfortable. The rooftop BBQ and patio area is only shared with two other apartments and so nearly-private. The owner was very communicative and helpful.

The Air-conditioner controls are limited, but the owner can make other adjustments remotely. So you may need to contact the owner to adjust the settings if the regular AC can't keep up with the heat. I visited on a very hot week in August so extra AC was needed. And once adjusted, it did just fine.

On a scale of 1 to 10 The location is an 11 and the hosts deserve a 12. The property is walking distance to everything we needed (including a great grocery store). Patty was kind, courteous, and very responsive. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Ignore all the racist propaganda you see online about Cabo being a dangerous place full of scammers. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and just trying to earn a living. We made many friends. The only rip-off was Delta Airline that charged $4,000 for tickets and then made us sit on the tarmac for hours (their excuse was miscommunication among staff) and offered us crackers for $10.

Managing a single key for the family was difficult. We did not ask if it was available but would have been nice to get a second set of keys maybe with a deposit.
