I would stay at Residence La Pacha again.

The location, the price, the heaters, the free car park, easy check-in.

The bed was a bunk bed in a very small room - since the bedroom was veery small we had to take a few crab like steps to get to the lower bed; and the upper bed of the bunk bed was like you have to crawl first not to hit your head to the ceiling. The mattress on the lower bed was a bit sunken in the middle.

Extremely dirty, extremely loud, horrible.

The studio flat is well equipped, the kitchen has everything one could possibly need, it's less than 5 minutes walk to the lifts, very close to a Carrefour mini market and a few other food shops.

Some things in the studio were way below the acceptable limit in terms of hygiene, the toilet seat was literally stained yellow and it was not possible to remove the stains, it was DISGUSTING, there is no other word for it. Every single dish was dirty and needed to be washed manually again. The pillows were stained with blood and markers. The mattress protectors were dirty. The floor was not vacuumed properly, the surfaces were not wiped properly. The fridge was rusting. The entrance door was scratched with dog marks. The worst part was actually the fact that there was no soundproofing whatsoever, despite being a listed amenity, you could hear everything from the road and every single flat above, under and on the same floor. Every single car that passed on the busiest road of the resort. I was alone and I spent every minute awake in the studio with my noise cancelling headphones, and slept with earplugs. Even this was not enough, on the first morning, the snow removal truck made the entire building shake. There were "questionable guests" in other flats in the building. There was a locker for skis and boots on the ground floor, however it was not heated and there was garbage inside of it. They have no solution in place to keep your luggage in case of early arrival or late checkout. The host was not very responsive and not very pleasant. On the last day, the maids knocked and tried to enter the studio at 8.30am, I asked who was at the door, they heard me and they kept trying to enter the studio with their own set of keys, I opened the door and they told me the owner told them I would be leaving at 8.30am, which I obviously never said to anyone as I never planned to leave this early. Overall, this is one of the worst accomodations I've every stayed in my entire life, thank god for I am not the customer who payed almost twice what I did the following the week, I would be filing a chargeback with my bank.

Fantastic hosts and lovely apartment, which would be perfect for a week on the pistes!

This apartment was perfect for a couple and very cosy. There was no need to buy anything for washing, cooking etc because there was foil, wrap, oil, sugar, salt & pepper, nespresso pods for the machine, dishwasher tabs, washing liquid, toilet paper, kitchen roll, etc.. We liked the ‘hatch’ between the bedroom and living room and the balcony with table and chairs. Marlene and Dominique gave us brilliant welcome instructions making getting into the apartment so easy and also for parking the car in the secure garage across the street. They also advised us to do a food shop in Mouliers on the way up to Courchevel because most food shops in Courchevel were shut, which was great advice! Even though they live in Lyon they visited us to make sure we were happy and gave us some good information for bike hire and walking trails. Marlene and Dominique’s kindness was so much appreciated. The location is quite near the ski lifts, within 400 meters which would make it a perfect base for skiing, so we would definitely consider staying here if we decide to ski in Courchevel in future.

Nothing regarding the apartment but note that if you visit Courchevel off-season (between end of skiing and start of July) everything is shut, including all restaurants, shops and ski lifts. We stayed end May/early June and did not realise this and as a result we ate in the apartment each night, which was a shame because we do like to try local restaurants. For walking it means a lot of walks are inaccessible unless you fancy walking up to the top of the mountains!
