The location is spectacular. The view from the room, while lying in bed, amazing. The feeling of being immersed in nature, with birds singing. Boneca, the lovely dog, had had puppies recently, it was very nice to see them playing around. The pool water temperature was really good, allowed for staying inside water even during short period of rain. The staff was ever present and very nice.

The fact that the cars passing in highway A23 can be heard on the property and on the room balcony. However, inside the room, with the windows closed, nothing can be heard (great acoustic insulation). The hot tub water was simply too hot to enjoy, but I understand it's difficult to please everyone's different thermostat. Some of the main dishes are outsourced to a local restaurant. Some of the plates contain ingredients that don't travel well, namely fried potato chips, that arrived soggy and cold. I really think the property warrants a kitchen that could provide 2-3 main dishes for those that wish to dine there. It doesn't need to be very elaborate, it could just be to add on the existing salads and toasts.

The remote stay but completely accessible to a variety of small majestic towns and rolling countryside.
