Casa Río Cuale and River Retreat

I needed a quiet room and this place is just outside PV yet it’s totally old school countryside next to a beautiful rushing clean river. What more can one ask for!! And an excellent Mexican restaurant 5 minutes walk Martha, the lady that keeps everything so fine there, is an absolute treat also.

Very quaint little hotel run by a very nice lady. The view and sound of the river was very relaxing. The location was remote but there were still several restaurants and entertainment options within walking distance.

The first room that I booked didn't have air conditioning. Booking.com said "air conditioning" but you have to check out the exact room that you are going to book to make sure that it has air conditioning. I called them because technically I made the mistake of not looking at the tiny print Booking.com put underneath the room that I was booking since they put "air conditioning" in the description of the hotel. The guy Mario who is the head guy was very helpful in getting me into different rooms that were available with air conditioning for the duration of my stay. The first room that I was in was very old and not everything worked well. It needs maintenance. If you needed help during the day or night. It was very difficult to find anyone. I had to check out of the first room and move because the room I was in was booked. I met some other people outside that had been trying to find someone to help them check-in. We all ended up going to a bar and restaurant that was a few blocks away to just wait and have Internet. The person that I needed to speak with texted me pretending to be someone else. Just stupid. It was Mario the main guy. The Internet was completely out for 3 days which meant no TV , internet or cellphone service. The second room that I was in had been updated and was nicer than the first room. I needed Internet so I finally checked out and went to another hotel. I was hoping for some peace and tranquility beside the river.
