The best balcony in Zavalatica

I had the best stay here. We just needed a quiet place to enjoy some days at the sea, and the apartment had it all: large terrace with a shade overlooking a gorgeous little bay, private concrete platform with deep clea sea to jump in, easy parking, basic kitchen were I cooked our meals almost every day. The area has a little supermarket, restaurant and bar - prices aligned with Croatian island standards (pricey). The hosts gave us a warm welcome and were easy to reach.

You can always do better, maybe the apartment looks a little old but for us it was perfect as it was! If I have to be very picky: I would have loved a softer pillow :D

Apartment spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen old but well equipped. Owners have few apartments already renovated so ask if You need one. Mine was at ground level and we had nice shadow from the garden. Calm and quiet surrounding. Sea is just few steps down. Concrete platforms on rocks and nice access to the water with ladder. Amazing, peaceful place. Hosts are great, hospitable and helpful.

Great, spatious apartment with lots of natural shade, that helps keep it cool during hot summer days. Nice renovated bathroom with a washing machine which was very helpful. The hosts were very friendly and helped us in any manner needed. There is also a lovely terrace with natural shade where our kids could play.

A very clean apartment. Private beach close to the property. Great view of the terrace. A few minutes to the center of the village. Quite close to the Žitna beach. Shaded parking place. Very friendly hosts :-)

Total relax

The place is very near to call it perfect! Davor is very kind and welcomed us with Rakija. Apartments have own beach with resting place, spots to jump to water, and screens for shade. Rooms are very tidy and cosy with AC. View from balcony was fabulous.

Generally good, but it can be improved

Nice location, private beach, very peaceful place, kitchen was working, air condition was good enough. Quite good price. Grill place ready to use which was really nice. Private beach was awesome. Very nice English talk with owner. Free parking all time.

Apartment without sea view which was on booking apartment title, we had just garden view. We’ve got ground floor apartment, which was different then booking photos dedicated for this apartment. Dirty pan, some pots and some glasses as well, probably previous guests didn’t clean it properly. Generally very dark apartment, without much light. It was good motivation to go out and to not sit inside. Unusable Wifi and very weak 3G Internet connection. On private beach mobile Internet was good enough. Private beach without any eqipment it can be improved in the future. I read in previous reviews that owner is very helpful. For us it wasn’t 100% sure, we tried ask about where to buy local wine, olive oil, fresh fish and where to rent a sup. We’ve got only laconic answers, which didn’t help much. Thankfully we found everything just by ourselves.

Beautiful place and view, private “beach” perfect for sunbathing and quite interesting for snorkeling. Everything was really good. Comfy private terrace. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Ideal for relaxing

The owner is very friendly and helpful, he even prepared the grill for us and waited us with a welcome drink. Big thanks to him and his wife! They fulfilled all our extra needs. The apartment was nice and tidy, it was in a quite street over the village, the balcony has sea view. The kitchen also has microwave oven included and there is a grill option and washing machine downstairs. The house is about 100m from the private rocky beach, but it's not suitable for small (<2yo) children, however, there are many nice beaches nearby (within 15km). We visited different beaches every day, so it was not a problem for us. There is a small shop and a private winery/fish seller nearby and there are 2 restaurants in the village within about 300 and 600m by walk.

Wi-fi was not reachable in the room - it will be fixed soon:) all of our wishes was fulfilled by the owner, so really nothing important comes into my mind.

Good place self-drivers

The family who owns this place is extremely friendly and helpful. The picked us up and dropped us of in Cara with no extra cost.

I was expecting better facilities for this price. More fresh and modern. I also thought we would get a terrace with a sea view. But to be fair it was probably my misunderstanding because I only saw the main photo of the place showing the sea view.

Bardzo porządny obiekt , polecałbym lokalizację na wyższym poziomie bo z dolnego tarasu nie ma widoku na morze.

Brak oświetlenia nad blatem kuchennym . Nie jest w porządku dowiadywać się o wielkości opłaty za zwierzaka po rezerwacji . Kwota powinna być jasno podana przed.
