Set on a 10,000 sq. m. hillside estate overlooking the Aegean Sea, Villa Amnalys is a private retreat designed to combine panoramic vistas with complete seclusion. Featuring nine elegantly appointed bedrooms, the villa comfortably accommodates up to 18 guests, or 20 if necessary.
Just 30 minutes from the heart of Rethymno, Villa Amnalys offers the perfect balance of calmness and accessibility. Guests can enjoy a true sense of privacy and intimacy within their group, with seven of the bedrooms featuring independent entrances. Throughout the estate, picturesque pathways wind through vibrant flowers, mature fruit trees, and fragrant herbs, creating a peaceful connection with the surrounding nature.
The villa also features a spa room, complete with a sauna, cold plunge, and full bathroom, offering an exclusive space for relaxation and wellness. Available upon request for an additional charge, the spa experience includes nine massages for an added touch of indulgence.
Villa Amnalys is fully staffed to ensure a seamless and relaxing stay. Daily service is available from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including housekeeping and assistance with grocery shopping (groceries are not included). Staff visits are flexible and can be tailored to guests preferences, ensuring both attentive service and complete privacy. As part of our exclusive villa collection, the property also offers a dedicated personal concierge, ensuring a seamless and effortless holiday experience.

First Floor
Master bedroom featuring: King-size bed (1.80m x 2.00m), ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, a 30" TV, dedicated workspace with printer, private balcony with daybed, breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and sea.
Lower Floor
-Second bedroom featuring: King-size bed (1.80m x 2.00m), ensuite shower, separate toilet located just outside the bedroom.Private terrace overlooking the lush villa gardens.
-Private wine cellar.
-Seven additional bedrooms, each with: Private entrance for enhanced privacy and independence, King-size bed (1.80m x 2.00m), ensuite bathroom with stand-up shower, coffee table, private outdoor seating area, views and scents of the vibrant garden; selected bedrooms feature mini fridges, while one also includes a TV.
-Eighth bedroom: King-size bed convertible into two single beds, additional single bed, ideal for accommodating a 19th guest.
-Ninth bedroom is positioned slightly apart from the others, offering additional seclusion.
Spa Area: A serene, detached spa retreat offering a private sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. Elegantly finished with NAXOS marble, the Tylo sauna comfortably seats 10 guests and features a star-lit ceiling and Bluetooth sound system, so you can enjoy your favourite music while relaxing. The wellness area also includes a refreshing cold plunge and a fully equipped bathroom with a walk-in shower. Available upon request for an additional charge, the private spa experience also includes nine massages, allowing guests to fully unwind and indulge in a restorative wellness experience in complete privacy.

**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR15 per night from April to October and EUR4 per night from November to March, payable upon check in.

Exceptional accommodations, and lovely grounds in a serene setting. Tonin and Val are so attentive! Eleni is very welcoming! Many great locations within an easy drive, from Rethymno to Ligres Beach, Heraklion to Chania. It's our second stay (3 weeks this time) and we are returning next year. K. Salzwedel, Seattle

Amnalys is a work of art. As a villa it accommodates 16-18 guests in cleverly assembled bungalows that make occupants feel connected to the villa and secluded at the same time. Furnishings are top notch as are the villa decorations. The kitchen would please a 3 star chef. Combined with the Crete countryside and a stay becomes an unbelievable vacation. High praise for caretakers Tonin and Valbonis, welcoming and incredible attentive, and to Eleni the property manager who is a remarkable masseuse. We're returning next year for three weeks. The property is spectacular and even more impressive in person!. Each room is perfect. There are multiple spaces throughout the property to gather for meals, all of which face the sea. And everyone has their own private rooms to retreat to when needed. It really does feel like a private resort.
The big surprise was the beautiful landscaping. Gorgeous flowers everywhere.
Etouri helped us with a chef - his name was Gilbert, and he was wonderful. We've never tasted food so fresh. It elevated an already exceptional experience.
I highly, highly recommend this beautiful home. We all already want to come back!

The challenges of the house were :
1) We were overrun by 3 inch Millipedes for 4 nights. They crept under the doors and at one point we killed 40-50 inside the house. This was apparently the " first " time this has occurred ? some nights they made there way onto clothing and curtains. A very unsettling feeling for many of our guests.
2) The staff is kind and helpful but luckily we had a Greek speaker and a French speaker within our group as neither of the staff members spoke English.
3) The Private Chef we booked upon recommendation of the Management company
did not originally show. He sent a staff and only upon chasing him down did he arrive. Apparently he had a "headache." The rack of lamb dinner turned out to be roast lamb served with attitude. All in a huge failure for such expensive pricing. The management company should delete this Chef from their list of recommended providers.
4) The timing of our stay ( shoulder season second week of Oct) led to much of the lawn and patio furniture being wrapped in plastic and unusable. A rat living under the plastic was unfortunate but captured and dealt with by Antonius.
5) Kostas and his team were most helpful on various matters.
