About this apartment rental

Nice one bedroom apartment furnished with fine furniture and finishes. Located on the first floor with independent entrance; consisting of 1 double bedroom, open kitchen on the living room with dishwasher, washing machine, fireplace, TV, DVD, music amplifier for iPad or similar, bathroom with shower and 2 balconies. Very cute, peaceful and welcoming. The prices shown include electricity and water consumption. Heating is autonomous, use is to be considered excluded from the rates. Linen is not included but can be provided at an additional cost of € 30. No smokers.

Comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment in the magnificent Gran Paradiso National Parc. We enjoyed all the winter activities (cross country, skiing and snowshoeing) in the cogne area. A hidden treasure in the Alps!

A beautiful appartment, nicely decorated with books, paintings and attributes from the region. Also comfortable, good shower, good matress, except the chairs around the dining table are a bit simple. The kitchen is well equipped, but it was good we brought our own casserole, as this is usually missing in holiday appartments. The landladies were very nice, they helped us with useful information about the Cogne area. We enjoyed our stay in Cogne very much.

We stayed at this apartment four years ago and couldn't wait to come back after the pandemic. The apartment is very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated; the perfect place to come home to after a day of hiking. We did not have a car, but the free bus stops right near the apartment and dropped us off each day at at wonderful mountain and riverside hiking spots in the nearby communities. There are also great trails right from the door of the apartment! We cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. It's so quiet on the mountain. We fell aleep each night to the sound of crickets and woke up to birds chirping. We loved watching a farmer bring his cows down from the pasture above each evening and walk them right past our front door. Best of all, though, was just sitting on our balcony and taking in the breathtaking mountain views!

The apartment is nice and cosy, very clean, bright and quiet. Cristina is a great host, she was very helpful and she prepared the wood for the fireplace upon our arrival. It was a lovely stay and I'd love to go back there one day.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and very comfortable for two people. The hiking in the area was wonderful. Cogne village with shops and restaurants is lovely and just a few minutes by car but not practical to walk to due to the steepness of the road. Cristina was very helpful with suggestions for walks and restaurants. We very much enjoyed our week stay here.

This apartment is in an area where there are lots of good hiking trails. The views were spectacular on every hike we went on. The apartment itself has comfortable furniture for lounging and a well equipped kitchen. It is neat and very clean. There is a big screen TV with 3 news programs in English for those rainy days. Cogne and it’s surrounding villages are all charming and traditional. There is a small grocery store in Cogne but a nice big super market on north side of Aosta to do your main stocking up. There are also a couple of shops/cafes in Cogne where you can get pastries. Also several restaurants and pizza places available. The apartment owner Cristina is great for communicating with if anything needs to be taken care of or to answer any of your questions. Over all we really enjoyed our stay!

This snug apartment in a tiny hamlet is beautifully designed and decorated and very comfortable. It offers the perfect base for exploring the mountains around Cogne. The Gran Paradiso National park is aptly named - it is stunning! Our favourite hike was the Lago de Loie circuit; after a stiff climb you enter a natural wonderland with breathtaking views, and watch out for the shy but very cute marmots! Cristina was very welcoming and helpful, and even made a restaurant booking for us. Highly recommended.

A perfect place to stay in the hamlet of Montroz.

We were lucky enough to have stayed here for the month of February to enjoy the winter activities of the area. The appartment was lovely; very comfortable and cosy; perfect for the two of us. The appartment was even more enchanting than initially indicated by the advertisement's photos. The facilities were as described; all very clean and in good order. The log fireplace was a real treat on those colder winter evenings! The owner was very attentive. She made us feel very welcome, making sure that everything was fine for us. Highly recommended.

We had a two weeks holiday in this house and are very satisfied. The house is comfortable furnished with eye for details and with a lot of room for 2 or 3 persons. It was a very clean house and at the same time it was very easy to keep it that way. From the balcon you have a nice view of the surrounding mountains The location was perfect for us, quiet and central for our daily or two-days hiking tours. The communication with the owner and the local person was easy. Conclusion: We had a very pleasant holiday in "our" house in Montroz. Fam. V.d.W - Netherland

L'appartamento è molto bello, arredato con estremo buon gusto, spazioso e confortevole. C' è tutto quello che si puo' desiderare, dalla mega TV agli accessori completi da cucina (lavastoviglie e microonde, oltre a tantissimo vasellame e pentolame nuovo). La pulizia è eccellente, la posizione molto buona con una terrazzo che potrebbe essere da cinque stelle solo avessero posizionato una sdraio/lettino. Ma è comunque fantastico, anche per la vista sul Gran Paradiso. Si arriva a Cogne in cinque inuti di auto(a piedi è un po' faticoso eprchè Montroz è una frazione sopra Cogne). La camera è silenziosa e comodissima, c'è molto stivaggio, il bagno è fornito anche di lavatrice (nascosta dietro ad un armadio a muro ). Le finiture sono curatissime, e c'è anche il wifi. Peccato che mi piace cambiare località ogni anno perchè questo alloggio vale da solo la vacanza!

Siamo stati ospiti della sig.ra Cristina nella sua casa di Montroz, nella prima settimana di agosto e ci siamo trovati molto,molto bene. La casa è in una posizione bellissima, tranquilla e silenziosa, ma che consente anche di raggiungere in breve (a piedi o col bus navetta) sia il centro di Cogne, sia i sentieri più belli della valle. L'appartamento è molto bello, spazioso e confortevole, curato in ogni dettaglio e provvisto di tutto. Per chi ama la montagna è veramente l'ideale e noi, sicuramente ci torneremo!

Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, einziger Nachteil: ab nachmittags gibt es keine Sonne mehr(Ende August), dafür kann man ein Feuer im Kamin machen. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen!

Na 50 jaar waren wij weer terug in Cogne. Schitterende omgeving en dan nog in een uitstekend appartement met geweldig mooi weer. Ieder dag gewandeld in een juni natuur met veel bloemen. Zo hadden we het weer verwacht. 50 Jaar geleden ook in deze tijd geweest. Was goed weer terug te zijn!

L'appartement est parfaitement agencé et très, très bien équipé, tout est à l'état neuf. C'est très propre. Nous avons bien profité de la cheminée, très efficace pour chauffer l'appartement. Cristina est très sympa et nous a laissé quelques petits cadeaux qui font plaisir. La localisation est très pratiques pour les randonneurs et les skieurs de fond, il y plein de balades et des pistes de fond à seulement quelques km. Nous en avons été ravis. A recommander.
