Ultra Modern European Designer Artist's home, The Ice Palace, named for its White Marble Floors and Huge Copper Dragon Sculpture! Clean Private Home with Large Fully Stocked Gourmet Kitchen, Gas Cooktop - 3/4 Acre Property with Large Fenced in Backyard, Bikes, and Beach Gear! Everything you need for longer term stays! Close to Wrightsville Beach, Shopping, UNCW, Historic Dwtn, Cross City Bike Path, Excellent Central Location! Well behaved Pups are welcome upon request. NO PARTIES - NO SMOKING!
The space
Marble floors throughout all 2600 square feet of our unassuming 1960's Brick Ranch on the outside, All Modern on the inside. Open airy spaces to lounge and relax after a day of exploring Wilmington, or hitting Wrightsville Beach!
Large King primary bedroom with en-suite full bathroom and bidet, Two Queen bedrooms with a shared guest full bathroom featuring floor to ceiling marble, Italian glass mosaic accents, and granite vanity. Toiletries included: Natural - hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner & body lotion.
All linens, towels, bathrobes, and beach towels are included. Luxury down duvet comforters, down & memory foam pillows.
*100% Cotton Luxury Linens are cleaned with eco-friendly natural detergent
*there is a fold-out single bed with memory foam mattress in one of the guest bedroom closets if needed.
Fiber 2Gig Internet and in-room televisions with streaming movies & DVDs.
Gourmet Designer Kitchen with marble countertops, gas cooktop, all clad cookware, and countless cooking accessories for your use during your stay, and yes our knives are sharp.
*We use Eco-Friendly All Natural Cleaning Products, have a whole home de-chlorinator system, and RO filtered drinking water.
*Large backyard enclosed with a six-foot fence great for pups, we have a doggy door insert available to provide 24-hour access to the backyard for them!
Smoking is NOT allowed on the property :-)
Guest access
Relax in the living room, gallery lounge or sip your morning coffee in the screened-in World Fusion room with soft trickling sounds from the water feature, also a great spot for a candlelit evening glass of wine.
Borrow our comfortable bikes to hop on the Cross City Bike Trail which takes you on a casual beautiful ride to Wrightsville Beach, Mayfaire Center for shopping and a movie, or for the more adventuresome, downtown to the farmers market Saturday mornings. We have 5 townie cruisers you may borrow, extra bikes can be rented at the local bike shop. (Not guaranteed, and please let us know if they need repair)
There are beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler for your enjoyment in the garage.
Other things to note
Dogs allowed upon request, they are not permitted on the furniture or beds, If you have a habitual rule breaker please consider bringing sheets to cover the furniture. :-) we also have a few if you forget.
*We have video cameras on the exterior of the home, tampering with the cameras will result in eviction and immediate termination of rental with no refund.

We had our shelties with us. They loved the large yard to play ball and to have some freedom in a secure, fenced place.The house was modernly appointed with obvious attention to details by our host.We cooked breakfast everyday and relaxed with coffee as we planned our activities.Our host provided everything that you would expect from a high end concierge hotel, including an extensive book with instructions for everything in the house and extensive recommendations for activities and dining choices.When trying to book this property, there was a glitch with VRBO and our host personally intervened to resolve the issues seamlessly.We were having such a good time at this property that we had family over for snacks and to watch a football game. They all were impressed.We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay and our host helped us navigate the process with VRBO.We can't wait to go back!Best vacation that we've had in years to relax and unwind!

This house is in a great location. It is well appointed, big backyard, and bikes for visitors use. Very comfortable beds. It is a very artistically designed house and Dorian’s beautiful art can be viewed throughout. Would definitely stay in this house again.

Wonderful house, colorful decor, great location, and helpful communication before and during stay. Nice quiet neighborhood with cruiser bikes to get around near campus.
