*We are located in the mountains with beautiful nature around. This home does not have screen doors, so if doors are left open, the nature could come in. We do treat for pests, but it is best to close the doors behind you to try and keep mosquitos and such outside.

* Quiet Policy: Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
* Trash will need to be placed inside the bins located outside of the home to try and keep bears and other animals away.
* Any damage or excessive messes that need additional cleaning and/or repairs, the cost will be passed on to the guests from the maintenance crew.
* Upon check out, clean any dishes or load them in the dishwasher and start it.

If for any reason, you notice something in the home that is in need of repair, please reach out to us directly and we will take action to remedy the issue as soon as possible.

This is a great spot for visiting the Asheville area attractions. Quiet neighborhood, all the amenities you need, and plenty of space for family or friends to stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Nick and Carly's home in Fairview, NC. They are incredible hosts—seriously, the best we've encountered! They responded to our messages quickly and were so thoughtful throughout our trip.Their home is the perfect blend of comfy and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation of the hot tub every evening. Most importantly, the kids absolutely loved the game room; it was a huge hit and kept them busy for hours!We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable, and fun getaway. Thank you, Nick and Carly, for being such wonderful hosts!

Having stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, we have decided that Misty Mountain Retreat is our favorite, hands down! Carly was responsive and friendly, making sure our issue was resolved quickly. From the cozy interior design to the well-stocked kitchen to the premium (!) paper towels and toilet paper, this vacation dream home has it all. We loved the gameroom, playing pool and pinball and TMNT video games. We appreciated the calm and quiet neighborhood and the wild turkey flock that roamed by each day. The views from the front porch and back deck were lovely, especially the misty mountain views out front.We highly recommend this lovely home away from home.
