About this house rental
Our first priority are our guests. We're making sure you are not lacking anything during your stay here. The house has a perfect layout for family and friends. Conveniently located close to downtown, restaurants, hiking trails, beaches and Golf courses. 10 min drive to Harrison Park and Inglis Falls, 10 min to Hibou conservation area or Kelso beach, 30 min drive to Sauble beach or Southampton. Bruce Peninsula National park (The Grotto) is only 1.5 hrs away.
Please note - VRBO algorithm lists the house as "near the beach" due to proximity to Lake Huron/Georgian Bay and local beach.
However, this is NOT lakefront property and it is located approximately 10min by car to the nearest beach.
Walking distance to the lake is approx 10 min as well.

Please note that this is not a party house. If your intention is to host a party or event, please do not book this property.
We have a strict policy prohibiting this type of activity for obvious reasons.
For your safety, our home is monitored by outdoor security cameras located at the front and back of the property. There are no audio or recording devices inside the home.
Please note that the house is NOT childproof. Kitchen cabinets and drawers are not secured with child locks, furniture edges/corners are not protected, window blinds have cords and there are two flights of stairs in the home - there is NO security gate on the stairs.
Cleaning supplies are NOT locked. All cleaning supplies are stored in the kitchen cabinet or in the bathroom cabinets.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside, and dispose of cigarette butts in the provided containers.
All guests must be accurately listed in the reservation request. Additional guests who are not listed in the reservation are subject to extra charges.
For liability reasons, we do not allow unregistered visitors at the property. Only registered guests are permitted on the premises. If you would like to have non-registered visitors during your stay, please request approval in advance, as additional fees may apply.
The number of guests must not exceed the number of registered guests (maximum of 6 guests).
Please be respectful of our quiet residential neighbourhood at all times. In accordance with the city bylaw, quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
Please remove your shoes upon entering the home.
Please treat the home, our belongings, and our neighbours with respect and care.

Private driveway for 4 cars is available. Guest can use the entire house and back yard,
Garage and walk-in closet are not available and will be locked.
We’re licensed by the City of Owen Sound to operate a short-term rental.

The home was exactly as described in the listing. Clean, well-kept and very bright due to the wall-to-ceiling windows all across the back of the house. Everything needed for cooking meals provided in the kitchen. Close to restaurants, fast food places, Bulk Barn, Shopper’s Drug Mart, supermarket for groceries, LCBO (province-run liquor store for visiting Americans) along 16th St E. Quiet neighborhood with access to a nice walking trail within 100 yards of the house. Very pleasant, convenient place to stay when visiting the region.

Beautiful property, central to Owen sound waterfalls we were exploring. Ample dining space, well appointed kitchen, separated bedrooms for privacy, beautiful view of bay (once wind blew leaves from trees). Very responsive owners-fantastic stay!

We stayed a week so that my husband could hike the Sydenham section of the Bruce Trail. The home is lovely with many amenities. It was in the middle of the of the section so drop offs and pick ups worked well. Communication with owner was prompt, clear and welcoming. I highly recommend this property.
