Allenby Street stretches from the Mediterranean Sea in the northwest to HaAliya Street in the southeast. It was first paved with concrete in 1914. During the day, it is a commercial street with many small businesses and clothing stores. At night, its cafés, pubs and restaurants throng with people. Many public buses run along Allenby Street.
While it is a city apartment walking to the beach is only a 6-minute walk, just stay in Allenby street and it will take you directly there. If you have much to carry, there is also a bus that runs directly there which will get you to the beach in 5 minutes.
5 minutes walk in the opposite direction will take you to King George street - one of Tel Aviv's most well-known streets, full of points of interest including the Dizengoff shopping mall and Meir Garden, a small park acting as a beautiful Oasis within the city landscape.
